Surely Morales doesn't stand a Chance

    I decided to watch a couple of the recent Morales Fights to see if he has any chance against Maidana.

    I watched this one vs Willie Limond.

    He wins by KO, but from what I gather, Morales looks very bad now, and i fear for his health.

    I can't find his most recent fight onine, how did he perform?

    i know. at least Maidana has anough power to end it early.

    Its worse when its a Manny, Margo situation, where its just a long sustained beating.

    Man this fight is gonna suck. I wanna buy it but then im thinking if i do im just gonna be yelling at the tv to stop it and ima be depressed the rest of the night.

    I hope he either gets stopped quick and painless or comes out and puts an exhibition.

    What would that do for his legacy if he came out and beat Maidana?

    no fighting on this. just the intro.

    Morales does not look in good shape at all in this

    I think experience and heart alone will keep Morales semi competitive early in this fight. But I would fully expect Madaina to start taking over after a several rounds and slowly beat Morales down. This is a bad fight for someone at Morales' stage to take. He should have looked for another old guy like Barerra instead, but this has always been Morales style.

    Erik has some set of balls he couldve just fought miguel vasquez for a fourth weight title or if he couldnt make 135 then fight an average to decent 140 lber for an interim title not the most dangerous one.

    i hope and pray that for just one night we will see the old el terrible

    he looks terrible but I'm sure that he'll look better against Maidana which maybe a very bad thing for his health

    Oh, I have a feeling we WILL see an old El Terrible. I don't know who in Morales' corner felt this was a good fight (Maidana) for him, but at the same time Morales is a grown man and he makes his own decisions. Morales may be competitive for a round or two, but I believe he will get knocked out in this one. I will be shocked :yikes if he wins.

    I admire Morales' courage to fight a tough competitor in 140 which I can't say the same to Marquez who kept on waiting for Pacquiao.

    Even a prime Morales wouldnt be able to compete at 140 at a high level

    I hope he doesnt get hurt, I hope Maidana knocks him out quickly

    people said the same thing about Chop Chop fighting Maidana...Maidana is good, but he's not this beast that he is made out the be.
