I've been out of the forum for a while cause a got tired of reading the stupid comments of dumb-ass people who don't know **** about boxing. Just wanted to know what you guys think about the Cotto-Margarito rematch after watching Cotto's last fight.
Rinse and repeat, Margarito bigger and stronger than the first fight... Cotto just bigger, Tony beats the **** out of him again.
Cotto will not make the same mistakes again, he will get hit thats for sure but dont expect Cotto to try and trade with Margorito He boxes to a 12 round decision in an average fight
I think it's going exactly the same way, personally. I'm stunned at my own decision but honestly, I think I'm going for Margarito in this fight. The only time I've went against Cotto was with Malignaggi, but I really hope Margarito can earn his keep and shut people up. I wish no harm on Cotto though, as it hurts to see.
I would love to see the rematch and how would Cotto react to Margarito's relentless pressure, and to see Manny's plan to try and beat Margarito.
My view is that it should not happen. What has Margarito done to deserve a big time match like this? It is likely that it is going to happen. The fight will play out the same way. Cotto taes an early lead. Margarito will come on late. The deciding factor is rather or not Cotto can hold on till the final bell. If he dose he wins by decision.
Manny was like a fly in that fight, but he still got caught and pressed up against the ropes. Margarito is so very perfect for Cotto in my opinion. His defense is absolutely shite.

I would like to see Cheaterito get pulverized... but fear Cotto doesn't have enough to pull it off. Still, I'll pick Cotto by UD.
I want to see Cotto beat Margarito like the mutt he is, but it's a dangerous fight for him. Cotto's lost a little since the last fight, and Margarito's lost a lot. He's still a tough bloke though, so I wouldn't expect him to be knocked out. Close decision for Miguel maybe.. hopefully..
Manny's plan???:yepnut....Ask Cintron about Manny's plan b, or actually plan A for that matter. Steward is the most overrated trainer in the history of the sport, THERE, I SAID IT... and if Cotto follows Steward's instructions like he supposedly did with mayorga, then he's gonna be in 4 a short night against Margarito. This pos of tijuana garbage will manhandle Cotto as if he was the last bean burrito on Earth.. Cotto doesn't need Steward... this is a myth, blown out of proportion by the fact that Cotto didn't have a real corner when he left his uncle. In any case, like they say in Puerto Rico, "is better to be alone than with bad company." Steward will make Cotto's career go down the drain for good. I know it's easier said than done, but all Cotto needs to do against the Tijuana taco is watch Moseley's fight and do a bit of that. Mosley laid a clear blueprint on how to beat this piece of filth, and it involves a bit of clinching. Once Margarita is out of sync with his relentless attack, he'll get dominated. Steward won't make this happen!!
Cotto will be beaten up by the late rounds again... BUT... He would win more rounds at the beginning, and by the time he's getting beaten it would be too late for Margo. Cotto will survive a close but clear UD.
