WHere did I compare boxing to body building? You are so blind by your hatred of PAC that you will read into anything you want and twist other people's word. I mention body building as a sport rampent with PED use and how congress is not realy interested in cleaning anything up. No refrence at all on it being anything remote to boxing.

For your information they do have test. But ofcourse YOU (divac Mr internet PHD in biochemestry) is the expert. PEd all the sudden now makes boxers better. All the so call expert have no factual data to even back up these claims that it would help. There is no data, only speculations as how PED would work in boxing. All the boxers that have been caught with the current testing system look like crap while on PED (Vargas, Toney, Mosley).

So instead of going after the boxers why don't you people who feel it is not adequate go after the boxing commission? You know, the orginization that is suppose to make it an even playing field, instead of randomly supporting boxers who picks and choose when and who they want testing done on.

Hopkins has clearly lived a strict lifestyle which is why he is still this active at his age. The reason boxers go into the hall of fame or receive ATG status, is because they exceed other fighters in great measures.

Hopkins has nothing to hide, and this bum being allowed to cast doubt on his impressive achievements stinks if you ask me. Because Hopkins is not the most popular man in boxing, this accusation will carry some weight, unfortunately. There's lots of people who'll be happy to have some reason to discredit him. Pascal will pay for it in the ring though, you can bet on that.

How are they going to go back and change it now? If being clean is an issue? He should have made that a stipulation BEFORE the fight was signed and made. In this case it seems more of a tactic than a concern.

Still, I feel that another fighter asking for drug testing is reasonable and should be accommodated as long as he pays for it AND is willing to give a purse concession if need be.

Guys know that other guys are allowed to cheat, and that as opposed to caring for the safety of their fighters the commissions and sanctioning bodies would rather ignore the issue as opposed to assume the cost of testing? Oh and no another guy doesn't need to be on roids to "F a guy up", but a guy doesnt' have to be on roids to him homeruns and sell out ballparks either, but they were. Two of the greatest players of the modern era (Who were HOF players without PED's) are in or soon will be in, criminal trials involving lying to the Federal Grand Jury about their use of PED's. Fighters should never decide if they want to take tests lol.

The only reason someone doesn't want to take the test is if they got something to hide.
