I don't understand your point, SSM begged to fight them...even at stupid weights that I don't think he could make, Roach says "No" and says SSM "is just too good". That's not openly ducking the man? This wasn't my main point and I'm not trying to make it about this, but I mean he did duck him, or if you can clarify what you mean perhaps I agree with you, but I've seen the video and have seen SSM openly beg for the fight.

Im pointing out that Floyds up isnt anywhere near the down on a Manny fight.

Just to point out Hatton was prime around Tszyu , SSM for me was prime Oscar 1. JMM was a lightweight and Oscar was prime around Ike.

So if he was to lose to Manny all of those very good wins ( and they absolutely were ) would end up with question marks around them.

Where did you get hate from? I wasn't a big Mosley fan, only his speed caught my eye. I have Floyd's career on DVD and I was the first PBF supporter on ESB in 2001. If you read my first post i said" What turned me off about Floyd" No hate.

You seem like a cool dude so Ima keep it respectful. I responded to "MrPr" and said that he was probably a hater casue he was saying that Floyd didn't wanna fight Mosley and was forced into it which is ludicrous.

Then you responded to my post thats how you got invovlved, but again I was addressing the fact the people contine to try and make it seem like Floyd was afarid of Shane even though he'd been asking for Shane for years and Mosley said no thanks.

no worries , I just get annoyed sometimes as I would never say a man that gets in the ring was a ***** , coward , scared. etc. Especially a champion as good as he is.

Maybe I am wrong , but I thought Roach said they would take the fight , but somewhere around 140?

Also I may be wrong again , but wasnt the Clottey fight being mentioned at the time ??

And I think Berto was being lined up for Mosley.

The guy couldn't draw breath before he fought DLH and has only fought 3 times since. give us his drawing power before then.

Because he doesn't test his limits doesn't mean his skills aren't great. It's like earning credit. The more work you put in, the more rewards you earn. There's a reason why I separate Floyd from the Alis, Haglers, Leonards, Hearns, etc. But just because Floyd is in a separate category doesn't mean I shouldn't be a fan.

I actually am the opposite, I find Floyds out of the ring antics somewhat entertaining.

Its the fighter that I cannot stand just because he hardly fights.

If this guy was showcasing his skills at least 2-3 times a year fighting everyone, he'd be my favorite.

He becomes hated with his out of the ring antics but he is becoming irrelevant by not fighting.
