had Collazo winning that fight and he hurt Berto a few times, Ortiz has more power and I fully expect Ortiz to kick Bertos ass ....thats how little I think of Berto who is fighting his best opponent since Collazo!

He has not faced anyone since, with that level of skill. I expect Ortiz will drop Berto a few times. I just hope he doesnt get robbed. Whats the word out on the forum for this fight guys?

Yeah but I would say Collazo is MUCH better than Ortiz. I think Berto handles Ortiz, probably stops him.

Collazo is a better fighter than Ortiz in my estimation, and also a natural welterweigh, unlike Ortiz who's just now moving up in weight.... so I don't see this fight as a forgone conclusion. The winner is still very much up in the air.

I hope ortiz wins, it would set up great fights with the khan/bradley winner and maidana rematch.

That's why I don't understand the scorn for this fight. This is a good face off between two fresh names. As for ortiz being smaller, the kid was always going to fill out to welter, he's very big for 140 and it was only a matter matter of time before he moved up. If ortiz holds the weight well then people are absurd to keep calling him a natural junior welter. People grow.

    This is a good fight.

Ortiz has a dentable chin as well, and both guys carry good pop in their gloves so it looks like a very interesting fight on paper. Neither guy strikes me as 'the next great thing in boxing' but considering all their flaws and strengths, we might get a good fight out of these two.

If Ortiz quit against Maidana who's as slow as **** he'll get bludgeoned by Berto. Anyone who thinks this fight will be competitive is a BertHoe nuthugger trying to hype Ortiz as a dangerous foe to make BertHoe look good when he beats him. This is like *******s saying Mosley is still dangerous at this stage :good

The best opponent? Good then . . . that means Berto is stepping up on better opposition.

As to the result of their incoming fight . . . not sure if Ortiz can keep up the pressure and make Berto falter. Collazo is a more technical fighter than Ortiz.
