    Pacquiao vs. Marquez

Marquez threw 510 and landed 195

    Mayweather vs. Marquez

Marquez threw 580 and landed 60.

Only difference between those 2 fights, is that Marquez can land 3x as many shots on Pacman

Did Pacquiao ever win a belt at featherweight? Let alone beat the best there?

Did he actually legitinately "own" 130? As in, did anyone ever think he was better than Marquez? Hell no

Hamed's record at the lower weights is way underrated.

He went 10 years beating the crap out of the best guys there

Ok, let's go over two key things here.

    This content is protected
Why is Nate Jones coming out now -- before Pacquio even fights Mosley, who might beat him -- and talking about Pacquiao-Mayweather?

If you answered "because Team Mayweather is trying to interfere with, and glom on to, the build-up to Pacquiao-Mosley," you're correct. Nothing new here for Team Mayweather as regards Pacquiao's fights.

    Here's the key part:

Nate says that Floyd realizes he is getting older and he understands he needs to fight Pacman soon and within the year.

Now, do I think Mayweather wants to fight Pacquiao? Absolutely not. He hasn't wanted to since Pacquiao-Cotto. So, this is likely just more image management/public relations BS from Team Mayweather.

But, let's just say that Mayweather has finally decided to fight Pacquiao. If that is the case, then he better hurry up and do it before he turns, say, 35 years old.

If Mayweather doesn't fight Pacquiao next, assuming Pacquiao beats Mosley, then Father Time might just TKO Floyd Mayweather. For all we know, Father Time has already KO'd Mayweather.

Both sides know this. Mayweather is two years older than Pacquiao, I think. Which means his skills are likely to fade before Pacquiao's do, and even given that Pacquiao has one foot firmly planted in his next career, politics. 34 is old for a fighter. Particularly one at a lower weight. 35 is looking over the cliff.

Team Floyd knows that -- based on the assumption Floyd actually wants to fight Pac now -- if Floyd doesn't get the next spot on Pac's dance card then it might be too late, physically, for Floyd to have any shot at beating Pac.

Unfortunately for Team Floyd, Team Pac knows the same thing. And Arum & Co. aren't likely to help Floyd out here. That is, they're likely to make Floyd wait -- as Floyd has made others wait -- until Floyd is 35+ years old. This is one reason why Arum is already lining up Marquez for Pac's next fight.

I personally don't think either side wants to fight the other right now. Arum doesn't want to give Floyd the opportunity to take down the sport's clear #1 Fighter at the moment, and Floyd does not want that "0" stained.

So, this is probably all just bluster and BS from Team Floyd. And bluster meant to give his gullible fans the impression that "their guy" really does want to fight Pac and he's not the ducker he's been made out to be. Honest. Why is Team Floyd doing this now? To try to get a boost from the attention on the Pac-Mosley bout and take some luster from Pac at the same time.

Will it work? I doubt it. Arum doesn't care and doesn't want to give Floyd the fight right now, if Floyd even wanted it. Which he probably doesn't. Will the public relations ploy work on Floyd's fans? Yes, it probably will. At least somewhat.

Some people want to believe, no matter how far-fetched their beliefs may be. That's human nature.

I can't believe fans buy this.

Are you still waiting for Mathew Hatton vs. Mayweather?

Arum leaks crap into the media, to try and make his lousy bouts look "elite".........

Pacquiao and Mayweather fans can be split into two groups:

1: Those with IQs below 100
    2: Everyone else

I think the truth is, Arums trying to sell a Pacquiao bout, and he knows how dumb Pacquiao fans are

If you believe this BS, you may as well just mail Arum your entire months salary right now

    Mayweather vs. De la Hoya

For the 154 WBC world title, at the full weight, with Oscar unbeaten at 154 for 9 years, and coming off one of his best ever wins there. With Oscar weighing 172 pounds in ring

    Pacquiao vs. De la Hoya

For no belt, against a shot, retired old man, making a comeback, for money. With Freddie Roach begging him to come into the ring 20 pounds underweight, to make sure he doesn't hurt his guy

    Harsh truth is

Mayweather fights these guys when they're legit. And made a lot of money from it.

Pacquiao just took on old, shot, unranked, old names

arum : yesterday i was lying today i am telling the truth

i used to believe everything i read aswel ...

pac says to dela hoya : i will only fight you if you come to the ring serverly anorexic and with needle holes in your arms (roach confirms this)

floyd says to de la hoya : i will fight you at you real weight in a fair fight

floyd beat an unbeaten , confident , popular prime hatton in a weight he had a title in

pac beat a broken, exposed coke head

The truth part is Floyd saying the Pacquiao fight will happen.

He's said it in an ESPN interview last week as well.

The fake bit, is everything that's not quoted. Quite obviously. If someone said it, why don't you quote it?

As if he did, he'd get sued, as he's making it up
