Maidana/Morales glove issues. I say B*****T

    A good source tells me that Marcos Maidana will be forced to wear Winning gloves against Erik Morales on April 9th. Morales has always preferred that Japanese brand to protect his sensitive hands but this is a bit of disadvantage for Maidana, who is a pure puncher.

    Maidana is going to win regardless, but thats ****ing terrible. That might take away the " OH ****!?!" KO that everyone is expecting to happen.

    Maidana is already happy to face his "idol" who is shot just to get himself a nice payday.

    If hes so damn powerful it wont matter which gloves he has on,he should be able to win by KO without any problems.HELL,he should wear big sparring gloves and still win by ko.

    The boxer should be able to choose which gloves he wants IMO, Erik is my fav fighter but I hope he has not requested this because it will take something away from an unlikely victory should it happen in a lot of peoples eyes... if he wants to wear winning then fine but Maidana should get to wear whatever ones he wants... the last thing we need is another Pacquiao type excuse.... a glove is a glove & wont change the outcome IMHO so let him wear gloves of his choice.

    I never been punched with Winning gloves before.

    I have with cleto/ringside and everlast.

    Ringside gloves hurt less to me. My face really appreciates it lol.

    Whoever thinks gloves don't make a different is a straight up fool. If there is no difference then there won't be demands and serious attention on them.

    On topic, Morales can ask whatever he wishes at this stage of his career. Maidana should just shut the hell up and agree to whatever, he shouldn't be in the ring with Morales. Whatever happened to his claims that he wants to clean boxing from fighters like Khan and Mayweather.
