    Baku Fires (10-2) vs Paris United France (9-3)

    The draw was conducted by AIBA President and WSB Chairman of the Board Dr C. K. Wu and broadcast live on the World Series Boxing (WSB) website. In the WSB semifinals, each contending team will face-off against the other in a series of home-and-home matches. Semifinals get underway April 8-9 and the second leg will be one week later on April 15-16. The winning teams will advance to the WSB Finals May 6-7 in Guiyang, China, where they will compete for $500,000 in prize money.

    Competing in the WSB’s Asia Conference, the Astana Arlans finished with a 9-3 record, good enough for second place behind the Baku Fires. The Arlans are led by a pair of top-ranked Kazakhstan fighters in bantamweight Kanat Abutalipov and Yerzhan Mussafirov, both of whom finished 6-0 on the season and will be the top contenders for the overall WSB individual title. The Arlans had a total of seven boxers ranked in the top-10 of the WSB rankings. The Baku Fires finished with 10-2 record while the Paris United finished with a 9-3 record. Paris United had seven boxers ranked in the WSB top-10 while the Baku Fires had five. The Americas Winner (L.A. Matadors) Were led by two-time Olympian Rau’shee Warren (Cincinnati, Ohio) and his 4-0 WSB record.

    Following the conclusion of the WSB Team finals, the top two boxers from each weight division from results of the WSB regular season will meet on May 27-28 in Guiyang, China, to determine the WSB individual champion for each weight class. Each division winner will receive $20,000 and an automatic invitation to the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

    If they decide do this again (National TV)...Please, I hope another network buys it. The Versus Broadcast Team of Sean O'Grady and Alan Massengale are BEYOND CRINGE-WORTHY!!!!

    This is pretty cool most of these guys if not all are still ams and can earn money in this league. I caught this the other week on Versus.

    i remember when sean o'grady was on knock out kings 2000 there roster was dope as ****. prime holme, prime vargas, prime danny romero(my uncle an one of my hometown heros) prime mayweather, prime kevin kelly, prime arguello, prime pryor. **** even angel manfredy was on that game.
    my bad for not contributing just brought back memories.

    And because the Versus Channel only showed the teams in the "Americas Division" (Miami, Memphis, L.A. & Mexico City) I never got a chance to see any of the "International Teams". So I spent the day watching several of their matches on Y-Tube....DAMN!!! There are some FANTASTIC FIGHTERS in this tournament. I'll be watching more of them this weekend. If you guys get a chance....WATCH THEM!!!
