James Toney: Pacquiao Beats Mayweather

    Basically, Toney says that Pacquiao is fast and fights with angles. And, Toney says Mayweather doesn't throw enough punches and doesn't hit hard enough to beat Pacquiao.

    I completely agree. Though I do not think the fight will ever happen now, I changed my pick from Mayweather to Pacquiao because of what Toney is saying: Mayweather doesn't throw enough shots at this point in his career to win rounds against a whirlwind like Pacquiao. Which means he would have to land a big punch to win the fight. As Toney said, Mayweather is not a big puncher. And to make matters worse, for Floyd, Pacquiao has shown he can walk through shots. Even against big men like Clottey, Cotto and Margarito.

    The reason the Cotto-Pac fight scared Team Floyd so much was that Manny was able to take what Cotto dished out. That was the fight, it seems, that finally convinced Floyd that he would not agree to meet Pac Man in the ring.

    Floyd KNOWS IT.

    Therefore, no fight. Just vacation time for Floyd looking for his URGE. Why can't Floyd show his URGE for Pac like he did Josie Harris and the security guards?

    Toney has been in the game more than anyone else in this forum. Watch some of these keyboard warriors try to discredit and act like they know more about boxing than him.

    Yep. But lots of talking about the supposed fight from Team Floyd in the next 5 weeks. Very predictable. And some gullible fans fall for it.

    George FOreman has been in boxing before you were even concepted, he said Hatton would beat Floyd. He was wrong.
