Tony also said he would beat everybody he lost to.

Just like everybody else in the world he is entitled to his own opinion.

Hoya and Hatton did better against Floyd than they did with Pac. That's why they try to claim Floyd is the better fighter, that sort of **** goes on all the time in boxing. Marquez is angling for a Pac rematch. He'll say anything controversial to get his name in the media

    Boxer A picks Floyd.

    Boxer B picks Manny.

    Trainer A picks Floyd.

    Trainer B picks Manny.

Who cares, really? Nobody knows until they fight.

I think you're missing the most important fact - they're all under the GBP banner.

Toney was a great fighter, but never much of a pundit.

He predicted that Lacy was going to destroy Calzaghe. Brutally.

Still, in this matter, I believe he's correct.

    Floyd fears Pac.

What people fail to realize, is that Pacquiao has been facing men light years slower than him. If this fight happens he will be fighting someone just as fast or faster with the BEST timing in the sport.

I think this fight is gonna move at an ants pace with Pacquiao trying to flurry and hitting nothing and then getting countered for 12 rounds, or either it will resemble the Mayweather/ Hatton fight with Pacquiao trying to swarm him while eating punches.

Pacquiao has no jab, no reach, no size advantage and no defense. When has anybody's offense or aggression been a problem for Floyd? (I'm sure one of you will say Castillo, a bigger fighter who used his size on him.) Floyd matches him or is better in every category except volume, power, and awkwardness. And the power and volume will be negated if he can't find anything to hit. He will get picked apart once Mayweather figures him out in the first couple of rounds.

Floyd will retire an undefeated legend. Victory over Pacquiao would put Mayweather in the top 10 - 15 of all time IMHO. Without that fight, he struggles to make the top 25 of all time.

So it's a huge fight, legacy wise.

But he can retire as the greatest undefeated fighter of all time.

Floyd Mayweather > Ricardo Lopez > Rocky Marciano > Joe Calzaghe

And that's a pretty damn good accolade in itself.

So what. His opinion is not more important or valid then ours. Toney also calls himself the best HW, and says that he'd school the Klit sisters. How many take that seriously?

He probably doesn't like that we question his fatness.

Floyd is way slower than he used to beand Manny just gets better and better.

Floyd has done everything he can to make this fight not happen and to discredit Manny.

I think deep down Floyd really knows this man has his number.

I like Floyd as a fighter , but at this point in his career would get destroyed by Manny.

I seem to remember the whole PED **** was started by Floyd Sr right after the Cotto fight.

Guy just can't believe what he saw in that fight.
