    I get ya mate. He looked to maybe have more tool than degale when he turned pro. I mean degales main issue was punching technique, whereas Darren seemed to punch well but get tagged a little too often.
    But as I said, he never had the chance to show enough to indicate if he would have progressed as quickly as degale seems to be

    class fighter, he had it all. He reminded me a lot of Cotto- to think of what we've missed by him going is very depressing. Imagine him Degale and Groves at 15-0, 16-0... this would have been an even greater era.

    Your a 1st class clown! You seem to only make outrageous statements to get reactions off people.1st of all being out pointed by Andy lee as an amateur is nothing to be ashamed as he was perfectly suited to the computer scoring system an in fairness he was a world class amateur. That's besides the point. When he lost to Andy, darren wasn't even close to his best. He wasn't part of the high performance team and it was only when he became part of that team that he reached his potential. Coming from someone who seen him train day in day out I can tell you he was an amazing athlete! He had the most explosive power out of anyone else on the HP team, was the fastest, probably the fittest and definitely the most dedicated. IMO he would have become world champion. Also he beat degale in the European union final, was that not a big one?
