Darren was world class anyone that thinks different hasnt a clue, I was at his pro debut and just remember thinking we were on to sopmething good with Darren he looked so strong and powerful . his last few performances werent great but you have to remember he wasnt well at that stage he was in a bad place .

still cant get my head around it ,if he was lonely he should have came back to Ireland and trained with John Breen or Phil sutcliffe just cant understand why he didnt do that .

I have a mate who ive known all my life and its not the lonelyness that makes them depressed, its just in them they cant help it.

He told me its not a situation or action that makes him depressed he just wakes up some days out of the blue and cant handle pressure or stress of normal life and gets extremely worried and anxious over nothing even angry.

You never know whats going on in someones mind. I never knew this guy had any issues until he told me. Funniest guy i know.BTW.

Loneliness is dangerous for these guys but not the cause.

I know its not the cause but it would have helped a great deal imo , by the sounds of it lonleyness had a lot to do with according to his father although I could be wrong , he just seemed the type that needed people around him buzzing off him and keeping his mind ticking over .

nah he was a good prospect. in comparison to every other fighter out of beijing he bossed it. look at his amateur fights as well.

and those bums fought other prospects. only he dealt with them in such style. he stopped a guy degale had problems with, who is now in contention.

these where not more than what they are but in comparison to how they fought others he was very good.

i thought he kept his head slightly too high and seemed to swing with his shoulders, and kept his spine very straight. but he was efficient and effective. degale is complete opposite. slick but not composite puncher or boxer.

I would say Sutherland definitely had more power than Degale.

More power than Groves as well.

A big fight between Sutherland and Lee would have been massive for irish boxing :bbb

only on esb do you get sad acts who act like a hybrid of tyson and fedor emelianenko and atually turn out to be sad, little low lifes who sit on their pc all ****ing day disrespecting fighters (dead ones at that) whilst never stepping foot into a boxing ring in their life
