The only thing that worries me is Rhodes inactivity. At his age that could be a killer. If the Rhodes that fought Jamie Moore turns up I think he will beat Canelo. Im going to be picking Rhodes in my prediction leagues and hes certainly the best fighter Alvarez has faced

Remember when Rhodes came out as a kid, from the same Gym as Prince Naz, had a very similiar style.

Was a huge hope coming up,maybe this is finally his chance.

    Exactly.
Who do some of you want him to face?
This is a great fight for fight fans and risky for Saul (which should he should be commended for).
There will definitely be alot of brawling during this fight.

should canelo fight a live opponent who can take his punches and give out powful combinations and hurt alverez then he has a good chance of losing,he really is easy to hit!.

matton easily landed on him,and hit and moved good in parts, but was to small with no power.

Hmm this dude is equally as big as canelo boxes well and uses his height and power well, is also a top 10 Jr. Middleweight....

    Great Match... Can't wait...

Isnt Rhodes also naturally a MW. I think when i looked him up he was listed as having quite a few MW fights. So he must be a bigger guy.

are you surprised?, I thought he would take a few soft touches this year, rhodes has a decent chance of pulling this off, fernando vargas route?

I was actually expecting GBP to put him with a softer opponent because of trying to protect Canelo. But yes I am little surprised if this fight is signed... and it would be a good accomplishment for Canelo and will earn the right to keep his paper title. Can't wait for it, that's for sure.

So, what's the bet that if Alvarez wins, everyone will speak badly of Rhodes as if it was an easy opponant which meant nothing for Alvarez.

Rhodes is a decent fighter. Once again certain posters on ESB show their Ring-magazine brainwashed ignorance.:dead:dead:dead
