    Round 4

Teper comes forward jabbing like a gnat. Hawkins is backed to the ropes while ineffectively swinging his right hand forward in a windmill motion as he retreats and ducks down from the jabs. Teper lands a good right cross. Hawkins tries to shuffle off the ropes and keeps pawing with the overhand right to try and back Teper off. Hawkins takes a few slapping right hands across the back of the head while tucking his chin. Hawkins down from an uppercut/left hook/right cross combo. Again, barely beats the count. Teper comes forward and throws punches from every angle trying to put him away. Teper calms down and starts trying to line up another 1-2. Right uppercut to the body by Teper just after Hawkins blocks a 1-2. Hawkins not going away. He's intent on surviving.

    10-8 Teper

    40-34 Erkan Teper

That's what I figured... You're doing the "Friday Night Fights" card also tonight?

    Round 5

Hawkins is slugging away in earnest but looks like he's punching through molasses. It's sad. Teper is content to just jab him in the face annoyingly (not a snappy jab) and land a few body shots in between long stretches of just defending and making Hawkins look poor. Both throwing very limp arm punches now. Hawkins landing a bit on the side of Teper's skull with slapping sidearm right hands. Teper is acting cute, holding his left hand low and slipping some punches on the outside before changing tack and simply wading through Hawkins' punches to get inside and slap him across the head.

    50-43 Teper

    You know it. :thumbsup

Tomorrow I have to choose between doing the Helenius-Peter/Huck-Nakash card or the N'Dam N'Jikam-Lorenzo card, since they overlap. :|

    Round 6

Teper tomahawks softly with his jab to keep Hawkins preoccupied and then smacks him in the mouth with a chopping right. Teper still looks very casual but seems to have Hawkins hurt with some body shots and increases his urgency just a little. A sequence of body shots have Hawkins clinching but not seriously hurt. Teper hops around him and pops a 1-2 to the body. Hawkins lunges with a lead right and misses, then misses a follow up hook. Teper pushes Hawkins to the ropes and lands a left hook to the body, and pokes through with right hand leads as Hawkins leans back. Hawkins now drops his hands and leans back, away from a jab. Hawkins very much just trying to see the final bell. Hawkins stumbles forward with a lead left hook, partially blocked but Teper felt it. Teper just flurries low and has his arms pretzeled as Hawkins rushes in and mucks up the works with his slow hands waving all around in front of his gut. Ugly ending.

    60-52 Erkan Teper

Chose Helenius vs Peter :hey I'm very, very interested in that bout.
And you can't go wrong with "Capt'n Caveman" Huck also... right straight, right straight, right straight, right straight, left, right straight, right straight! :bbb

ET didn't quite live up to his billing as a promising heavyweight prospect. He'll need to improve a lot to make it even as a fringe contender, IMO.

Teper wins a unanimous decision, of course. (scores not announced though, strange).

Out walks the Ukrainian, to Sad But True by Metallica. He's a blocky looking fellow, with a fauxtee and a fauxhawk/flat-top.

Then Pala, to some more orchestral arrangement - the much fitter looking boxer, with a face like a hardened convict.

    Anthems.

:think I'm pretty sure it's just the WBO Euro HW title.

These British commentators are so catty!

1: You've seen Mazykin many times, haven't you?

    2: Unfortunately I have...

    :lol::lol:

They're also dishing out very backhanded compliments for coming in slightly less overweight than the last time they saw him..
