This is a good test for Canelo

 

most people rank rhodes ahead of canelo plus canelo has never fought anyone who switchs as well as,hits as hard as or is big as rhodes.this is a tough fight

This is a good fight, certainly not one where Canelo can afford to come in lax and expect an easy night's work.

it's a good fight, but rhodes has been out of the ring for some time now. there will be a lot of ring rust. i would give him a chance, even by stoppage, if it weren't for this. lets hope it doesn't affect him too much and he's on top of his game.

This is a potential banana skin for Canelo.
At the very least it will be a great scrap.
This Rhodes gets hit far too much though.

 

I like this fight for Canelo. Rhodes isnt a bum, but hes no world beater either and neither is Saul. Yet. Kid is only 21 people forget that and to fight a seasoned fighter like Rhodes for someone Sauls age is huge. No Rhodes isnt Hatton he is better, but I dont think hes better than Canelo tho. Canelo should not be rushed and given 2-3 yrs before he can take on the elite. By then he should be in his prime and no excuses.

 

Rhodes will be a good test for Saul, he is an accomplished and experienced pro. If the fight was in England i'd maybe fancy an upset. Canelo is a strong favourite in Mexico but Ryan will give a good account of himself and will show Saul things he maybe hasn't seen before. It will prove to be a good learning fight for him.
