Haye couldn't destroy most of the top 20. If he was going to destroy someone he certainly would have done it by now.
I don't just "think" I know boxing, dickhead! I ****ing know it - mark this thread! Haye will win in the first half of the fight and you will weep your ****in eyes out. I'll be in touch......
To much hype on this fight! I fear that the fight is going to end the same way Vitalis last fight ended....... KO by Wlad in the first round! Haye can't take a punch. He's proven that in his earlier fights. If Wlad only touches him with a punch it's good night....
I think that Wlad's going to get hit by a couple of shots. I don't think that Haye will be able to take him out. But as soon as Wlas hits Haye, I think the fight soon or later will end. Haye could't take a shot in cuiserweights, what makes you think he can take a shot in heavyweights? Look what happened to Solis.......
Thompson was a world class Crusierweight and Haye was pretty much still a novice and fought like one too. Yes, Haye was stopped but this was down to exhaustion rather than anything else. Clearly Haye learnt a lot from that fight all those years ago. Mark my words, Haye will beat Wlad
I don't understand this argument at all. The Klitschkos are dominant because they are hard-working, disciplined, well-prepared and good enough boxers. All their height and reach would be worthless if you don't know how to use it. You think Haye would have a better chance he was 6"7? How would a 6"1 215 lbs Lewis have looked against Vitali? This entire argument is beyond ridiculous. Usually it is made by people who have no clue about boxing.
Yes, he learned not to overpace himself. But that comes at a cost: His work-rate suffered and now Haye boxes in spurts, sometimes potshotting from the outside in order to catch a breath and then going in for the occasional offensive flurry.
Had a dream last night, Wlad KO7(think it was 7). Haye said after the fight he didn't see the shot. Dreamt Arsenal would beat Auxerre 1-0 years ago and Millwall would beat Sunderland 1-0 in the FA cup semi-final. Get betting lads
Yes, Thompson was good cruiser but he also was 40 years old and on the way to retirement. But I also feel that people pay too much attention to this fight. Haye's chin is probably not as bad as many us (like to) believe. It's the temple shots that seems to mess him up pretty bad. And Steward/Wlad knows this very well. I don't know about that.. If you watch SNV/Ruiz between rounds he's clearly having hard time even with that pace with Niko. Didn't Bunce said (long time ago though) that David doesn't do road work? Anyway; my respect for Haye increased very much when this fight was announced and I hope that he stays in the business whatever happens in the fight. If the fight is competitive the rematch would be awesome in LV or Garden. And then there's Vitali as well..
