    nobody said he didn't care about the sport of boxing.

    im saying that every non boxing fan i have ever watched a fight with has made a negative comment on him. he is not a good commentator and overexaggerates every word when he is presenting. hes simply not very good at his job and hasn't improved in 12 years

    ive had the volume off whenever smith has been commentating for years now.

    i like smith when hes in studio and doing interviews. but hate him when hes doing fights

    He never asks the right questions. This the guy that tells us the rules before fights like hbo do and is always on hand in prizefighter hoping for a pullout so his mug gets on tv? Yeah hes a ****

    It's all about opinions, and we can all turn down the volume. I know no one said about him not caring. But that's the point why discredit a man who does a lot behind the scenes and cares about the British scene.

    Why "discredit" him?

    Many people say he is not good at his job. Have we no right to say that because he cares about boxing?

    Why would you turn the volume down on a Weekly Boxing Magazine Show called RINGside?

    I am not bothered about his commentating, its his weekly presentation skills.

    Where do we draw the line, as we watch this programme week by week descend into the Julian Clary Show?

    His not really his gayness that is concerning me, more how crap he is. I thought he was going to do a lot for boxing on Sky but he seems to be a puppet.

    I recall once when Smith & Watt yer yapping rinside pre-fight & my missis who hates boxing screeched from the kichen "Who the hell is that talking"!!!??? she walked in & just said "HE'S CRAP" & WHAT DRAMA!! He loves his own voice that one!!! look at how dramatic he is when he faces the camera after talking to that other feller ect ect, (nag nag ****in nag) turn it down as well as i won't be able to here strictly come dancing if he's on:twisted:

    So i turned it down:oops: **** you smith:smoke

    Ed Robinson speaks really ****ing weirdly, like a ****** trying to sound intelligent, the way he pronounces every single syllable and tries s hard to speak corectly. Seems like a good dude tho.

    Dunno who trained these guys
