Good point. Except, DLH saying Floyd will win has about as much stock as Arum saying Pac will win, been in the ring with Floyd or not.

JMM fought Pac at 130lb 4 years ago, 2 completely different fights.

Hatton got ktfo in 2 rounds and thought he was winning the 2nd round by a "country mile" :rofl Can we really take his opinion seriously?

How about we take every single fighter that predicted the fight and count them. See how hard that is

andre ward, and andre direll, ricky hatton, jmm, tim bradley, bernard hopkins, glen jhonnson, oscar dela hoya, sergio martinez all say floyd wins.

so i dout it hurts floyd feelings, hes a grown man not some kid.and most fighters dont have manny winning.its more then likely split down the middle.

all you go to do is listen to on the ropes boxing, every fighter they have on there they ask about the fight and who they have winning.

Isn't Floyd a fighter too? You can include him on your list.

Books don't need to "know" boxing in order to perform their business. They only need to "know" the sport when they set the initial line. The intial line will come from one or more respected books(from their odds maker) and then will be used as a starting point by many of the rest. From that point on, the amounts wagered on each side determine if the line will move one direction or another. You seldom bet against the book as their goal is to balance action on each side and collect vig. If a line shows a fighter as a favorite its because the inflows of money showing for the fighter indicate the betting public feels the fighter will win. Your really winning because the betting public "don't know ****". Many fights don't get coverage because of thin or unequal betting. Books will often lay off action on larger books to spread out risk if they become unbalanced on on side of the line, but if there is time they are likely to adjust their line first.
