    Yup.

First of all, for all of you who hated on Robert, all I can say is its never too late to hop on the bandwagon. Robert attracted a lot of hate both from a certain segment of Americans who don't want to see yet another dominant Euro heavy, and from a certain segment of European fans who were disappointed with his amatuer career.

In between, there are those of us who have been watching him since the beggining, and know that barring his hand troubles, he is turning into another in the George Foreman-Vitali Kiltscko mode. A huge fighter with a strong, useful jab, a solid chin, and power, it really does not matter in the least if he is a little stiff.

Take a second look, and while your add it, take a second look at Pulev and Glaskov.

All of that beind said, Peter is the second former titlist on his record along with Brewster. Haye himself has only beaten two in SNV and Ruiz. Yeah, Brewster was shot and Peter came in fat, but Valuev needed two surgeies and Ruiz hadn't won an important fight in years. The rest of Haye's heavyweight record consists of Bonin, shot Barret, and Fraudley. Helenius also has Gammer, Bidenko, Levin, Olukun, and Greg Toney. Really not a great deal of difference.

So for those who still want to say Helenius is not world class- he is pretty much already there.

    Peace.

I'd give helenius a slight nod regarding both fighters 2 best wins and lets keep in mind how they won those fights (especially since both are labelled punchers) and Helenius certianly has more depth in his resume after those.

Its always good to have you here for back up, my friend. Chahkiev is fighting on the Morales-Maidana undercard, but the way.

Now watch the haters roll in.

On HBO in the US? I know Boytsov signed a co-promotion deal with Golden Boy, Chakhkiev too?

American audiences should love him, then again he's a CW. I take that back, he's irrelevant and absent of skill just like Gomez, Jirov, Adamek, Nelson, Haye.

Is he top ten himself now? I'd put him there as number ten at the lowest.

He isn't as proven as haye yet, but if he beats either chag, pov or chambers next he'd have a good argument. The real difference is that valuev and ruiz where both, depressingly so, top ten at the time. Brewster and peter where barely top twenty. Very good wins the for someone at his stage.

I personally think next up should be dimi or areola, just to solidify his claim as a top ten. He has a good year now to fill his resume whilst k2 take on the former cruisers. Let him build his resume steadily. Dmi, areola and chambers would do very nicely and would likely put him top 5.

I wouldn't jump on a bandwagon because I don't support individual boxers since naz, bruno and eubank retired and then valero went all psycho. I'd definitely put him in my top ten ahead of areola, boystov and dimi.

    It's probably looking like

    Wlad
    Vitali
    Haye
    Povetkin
    Chambers
    Adamek
    Chag
    Valuev
    Solis
    Helenius

Helenius vs Dimitrenko, they should make this one.

I think his resume is certainly improving and he seems like one to watch. He's growing on me but I'm not going to get too wound up just yet - not until we see him in with a young fighter who is also on the way up. It was a good finish (one of the best left hooks I''ve see in a while actually) but there were times when he looked ordinary. He needs some work and a more rounded approach, which will come with experience. Haye is perhaps more proven as he's fought at championship level and is now set to face Wlad. So whilst you may not see a marked difference in their resume, it may be academic if Haye beats Klitschko.

The younger fighters are fighting stiffs. Helenius is the ONLY one to be actively pursuing better fights. Hell even Adamek is making a stop at McBride, and has fought Maddalone for fukks sake. Haye has fought Harrison.

Why should Robbe fight Fury or Pulev or Chisora until they beat a former titlist, or for that matter even another top 25 fighter themselves.

No active HW's record comes even remotely close to the top 10 ATG British warriour Haye's. Unbelievable that there are such poor excuses for humans out there blinkered enough to think otherwise :-(
