I really don't see anything getting past Diablo's guard except the occasional jab, Włod landed two or three okay rights but nothing spectacular.

10-9 Włod, 76-76 overall but some of these rounds are very close, not in a thrilling way though

Round 9

Palacios steps around to Wlod's right and lands a hook. They both throw on the inside, Wlod lands his own left hook, and a low blow is landed but they touch gloves and nod in respect. Wlod throws a pair of hard straight shots that have Palacios leaning back and bouncing off the ropes to avoid them. Wlod comes forward with his guard up and blocks a slapping two-fisted combination coming around the sides. Wlod is doing a good job staying squared up right in front of Palacios now, keeping up with him. Palacios isn't getting far now. Wlod still isn't throwing. Wlod loads up a big right hand and Palacios pushes down at the base of his neck. Palacios skirts the ropes and then lands another hook on the turn.

Pretty even round, Wlod coming on but still not enough to claim it.

 

10-9 Palacios round, Włodarczyk is doing little but trying more now and Palacios is just running around the outside, at least he lands the jab though

Palacios is just too slick. Wlod, even though he's blocking a lot of Palacios' shots can't handle it when P switches stance.

Wlod blocks a jab. Palacios uses jerky reflexes on the outside to avoid Wlod's shorter jabs, hands held low. Wlod takes advantage by walking him to the ropes and landing a right hand to the jaw. Palacios smirks at him and then flurries him away. Wlod looks focused and intent now. They both paw with their jabs, Palacios staying outside. Palacios lunges in with a right and goes off-balance right past Wlod. Clean break. Double hook by Palacios, blocked. Wlod double jabs to the face. Palacios leans against the ropes, holding his arms out and anticipating a punch, flinching a little. Big slapping flurry by Palacios as he springs off the ropes. Wlod blocks the flurry but allows Palacios to escape. The tip of a nice reaching right hand catches Palacios on the chin. Wlod coming forward landing hard jabs. Palacios moves in and out, not throwing, tentative. Slapping 1-1-2 by Palacios, all blocked. Wlod charges in and lands a double jab to the forehead. BIG 1-2 by Wlod as Palacios leans over against the ropes, crowd roars.

10-9 Wlod, but in a big hole.
