Interesting interview today during the Huck-Nakash fight. Morales told the reporter he was forced by top rank to face manny at 130, or no fight. Says it was a reason why he lost against manny in their last fight because he was weight drained.

He would have lost no matter what.

By that time (3rd fight) he was already finished.

And now hes one week away from a life changing beating.

I think he is telling the truth BUT he was pretty much shot at that point I'm unsure if it makes too much difference??

I guess he feels robbed a little.

It looks as though alot of Manny's victories are often blighted by claims of weight draining.

Not nearly as bad as Top Rank scheming the hospital to "lose" Pac's initial HIV/Hepatatis blood test in their first fight.

And what's his excuse for losing the second fight?

Every fighter has an excuse for every fight they ever lost.

Why didn't he rematch emmanuel at 135 instead of 130? You did whoop his AZZ and bring in the PPV buys. You should have dictated the rules.

Pacquiao gained 14 lbs while Erik gained 10 lbs. Who was more drained?

That has to be one of the dumbest reasons I have ever heard.

Just because Pac can cut more weight doesn't mean Morales wasn't drained.

But either way, drained or not. pac was going to win.

He would have lost no matter what.

Morales is being a bit delusional, and I say that with love because hes on of my all time, all time favs.

He crossed that line in the first fight, I think that was the last he could give as an elite fighter..... he went on to later not being able to defeat David Diaz convincingly (I scored the fight for Morales, but it wasnt the domination it should have been) at 135, was he drained there too? What about his lethargic performence against Raheem, again, at 135, was he drained there?

Morales was simply past it..... maybe not 'shot' shot, but no longer elite. Im sure the draining didnt help him, of course not, but his legs werent what they were, it showed in the second fight.... and he would have lost to pac no matter what weight they fought at.

However, I cant blame Morales for his stubbornness, its part of what makes these great fighters great..... unfortunately it will do him in against Maidana.

You just don't. You don't lose actual specimens, paperwork, and computer data all at once. Sometimes I think this is why Floyd won't fight Pac. There are evil forces out there that you can't control.
