Think we might find the Spaniard was a lot better than we thought and I believe he could go on to win a Euro crown at some stage. Yes Murray was easy to hit but thats not new is it really, he stopped boxing his way in a dozen or so fights ago and relies on brute strength to get inside and then work.

Mitchell will hit him with plenty early doors there is no doubt about that and its quite possible Murray won't be able to take them. Equally if Murray answers the bell for the seventh round there's only one winner in my book from there.

Good fight - each of two for me

In the thread that was created before on this fight I voted Mitchell. Murray has never impressed me.

i just wanna put across a point that murrays ranked number 2 by WBC as a fellow citizen of this country i dont want to be hummiliated seeing another massicare happen to young british fighters on the world stage ala gary lockett we dont need none of that **** anymore you feel me. Him and his trainer were saying they were more then ready for guys like brandon rios and marquez. You build up a unbeaten record against chumps and expect to be ready for those guys........

Spaniard was decent and made Murray look bad. Murray helped, he wasn't sharp. Mitchell has had a long period out though and I think this would be a close fight that Mitchell could nick on the cards.

There could be a load of reasons for tonights display tbh when i read ''looking to get a few rounds in'' it said enough for me to think Murray was underwhelmed by his opponent and wanted it out of the way.

He done every the same as the other 30 fights prior....straight ahead fighter who will struggle at world level. I think tonight they would of been better putting him in with a ex world champion/world class fighter whos on the wane...might of been better but fair play to Who's-Gary he was lot better then i expected.

Murray has plenty of heart but is very limited, sure there will be ring rust when a boxer has that long out, but not that much, he was dreadful tonight and if the fight was in Spain that unbeaten tag would have been removed, he would have probably lost by disq.

I think Mitchell is superior technically and would outpoint him if they meet.

    Mitchell all day!

Kevin is a bad match up for Murray.

Too much movement, better boxing skills, better boxing brain. I'd fancy Kev to win via a stoppage around round 7-9.

    Very difficult to judge really...:yep

That was a **** show from Murray tonight, everyone knows that...:yep

I think that Murray overcooked it and left it in the gym tonight his inactivity caught up with him...:yep

He will have to be on top of his game to beat Kevin Mitchell...:yep

I am not going to predict the winner of a Murray v Mitchell fight if it is ever made until after the weigh in, I need to see these two on the scales first...:deal

I said Mitchell on points before but judging by Murrays performance tonight i reckon Kev could probably get the stoppage. He would be too slick for Murray imo,and if Murray kept walking onto shots like he did tonight i think Kev would have the power to get him out.
