The thread is about pac morales 1, you post a bunch of drivel about how biased the hbo commentators were when you are talking about a completely different fight. Fact is while Roy Jones was talking about how much Morales was owning him, Merchant was routinely arguing and saying how he thought the fight was even. Lampley was just pumped for the fight. Wtf you talking about? I was responding to another poster about the Hbo commentary crew and stated my opinion about the 2nd and 3rd fight specifically stewards commentary . Nowhere did I discredit morales win so dont know where you get this Blind follower bull****. I havent given any excuses why Pac lost, others have so pull them up on that **** So go **** your self and stop thinking your the only boxing fan round here :hi:
Probably the best fight of Pac. He fought a bigger figther while moving up in weight, fought someone with longer reach, skilled, had vision problem since round 5, but continued to fight with sheer guts and heart 'til the end. He ended up crying after that fight but he learned a lot from it since then. The rest is history.
Love that fight and Morales 'brawling' though really he is just aggressive offensively. I think people often ignore the defense and counter punching side of it, morales did block a lot of shots. He wasnt trying to get hit like Mayorga, he fought a smart fight (minus round 12), but he didnt mind taking the risk and getting caught in return if it happened. I love that combination of aggression and skill.
