They were NOT top fighters nutthugger, Peter was top 3 at one time, won a belt and made Wlad dance, also Maskiev who wasn't **** in his prime in the 90s, did better and won a title. BTW Haye wouldn't be top 3 in other era, neither would Adamek or Povetkin. This is a bad era of boxing period, but the HWs suck even compared to other bad divisions.
Sam had plenty fight in him tonight and could easily have tagged Hellenius with a bomb of his own, no way was he shattered by anyone.
:rofl Ali has an 82 inch reach and his hands and feet are much qicker than Wlad's, Ali is also atleast 2-3 classes above Haye and Adamek, but Clithuggers like you have thier own fantasy life.
Naw he would win because he is simply better than Wlad, as he never got repeatedly KO'd by bums in his prime.
Old Foreman KO's wlad easy...Ali KO'd prime Foreman... Old Lewis KO'd Vitali (I won't even mention Byrd, oops)...Old Sanders KO'd wlad... Ali fought in the greatest era of HW boxing, over 50 fights without getting KO'd, Parkinsons KO'd Ali... Klits fight in crappy era, KO'd multiple times each, well under 50 fights...
What is your definition of "KOed" because as far as it goes in Boxing I don't think you know what you are talking about.
I think they're pissed at Peter because his losses make a few of the klit's biggest wins look less impressive...
So the Klitschkos will get the credit of Helenius KOing Peter now? Peter is surely past his best, but this is getting too far. It was Helenius bombs that shattered Peter tonight. Maybe Helenius just hits really hard, ok? Besides, James Toney buzzed Peter with a counter right hand in their first fight. And former MW Toney is not a big puncher at HW - but that right hand was well timed and accurate.
Rendering your opponent physically or mentally unable to continue, whether determined by fighter, corner, ref or doctor...For example, if half your face is hanging off from getting punched and the docor stops the fight, it's a KO... Let me know if there's anything else you don't know...
Zenek, I'm not sure that there is any point in arguing with you. You look at Adamek and see someone as good as Ali and as much as I respect Adamek, that's just not true. You talk about size like it is the only thing that matters, yet when you look at Ali's reach compared to Wlad, the two have very similar reach. Add to that the fact that Ali is faster with his hands and with his feet and that Wlad's chin is not exactly granite and the danger becomes obvious. There's also the fact that in his prime Ali was hard to hit and his jab was better than Wlad's and he could throw it while moving. I could understand people saying that Wlad might give Ali a tough time. Wlad is a powerful puncher and he has become more technically skilled under Steward, but the idea that Wlad slaughters Ali or even beats him the majority of the time is just not well supported by the evidence. Just look at Ali's resume and then look at Wlad's. If you honestly believe that the two are comparable, then there really is no convincing you.
