lennox lewis reach and weight would have troubled Frazier Ali and Foreman

foreman would knock THE **** out lewis.lewis would be out cold.
also if frazier catches him with a left hook,good night lennox...

 

Foremans big wide blows would all over the place.

 

Ali might take him the distance,But I feel the other 2 fighters stops him.

Lewis was a very good fighter BUT ...That chin was just to shaky.

Its not gon hold up against arguably the hardest heavyweight puncher of all time in George Foreman. That fight would be a nightmare for lewis.

Lewis would be competitive early with Frazier,But Frazier keeps coming and when he begins to land that brutal left hook,thats when Lewis downfall begins.

lewis was lazy in the ring at times and had a suspect chin. ANY hard puncher had a good chance of dopping lennox. a prime tyson, or dempsey crumble lennox IMO. suspect chins wont hold up against hard hitters who can move too. no way. lennox would be seeing stars.

They would not be able to deal with his size, power, and skill. For the heavies of old, Lewis had too much in every category. Old time nostagia aside, Lewis would have done well, if not beaten, just about every heavy in history.

Foreman is a bad matchup for lennox. People always exaggerate foreman's slowness in his prime. He wasnt fast but he wasnt that slow, people that think lewis can just use his jab and footwork to avoid all of foreman's shots are kidding themselves, foreman didnt have a hard time connecting on anyone, minus ali but he still banged him up pretty good and although ali didnt take many real bad full contact headshots he took plenty of partially blocked and plenty of nasty body shots.

 

Could you not say the same about Frazier? Foreman literally walked through him, and had him down six times in 2 rounds, Bonavena also had him on the canvas a couple of times, early in his career. The myth about Lewis's chin being poor comes from a couple of flash knockouts, what about the big rights he took from Vit, Evander, Tua, Bruno & Briggs? Lewis UD's the **** out of Smokin' Joe. :rasta

 

Don't know if you ever saw the Lyle fight, but if you did, you might what to reconsider the "nearly invulnerable beard" comment. Foreman was down as many times in that one fight, as Lewis was in his whole career.

 

In terms of how Lewis would do against Foreman, Frazier and Ali, I think he'd have less problems with Frazier than the other two, as it would be hard to imagine a 205lb fighter giving Lewis too much trouble. If he fights Frazier the way he fought Tyson he'd simply manhandle him and hit him with upper cuts and probably catch him with an over hand right. I don't think Frazier ever gets into 'smoking' mode against Lewis.

As for Foreman, I think Lewis has a variety of options to win. He can box from the outside, and he throws much straighter punches, and if they aren't as hard, they're not much softer, so I think he wins that fight by KO if he catches Foreman as Foreman's looping a punch at him. That said, Foreman does have a punchers chance and if he lands a good clean shot, he also could KO Lewis. It would be silly to think otherwise.

Ali would be an interesting match up. Speed obviously goes to Ali, power, reach size, to lewis. And nobody can take a punch like Ali, I can imagine any other fighter in history being able to take Foreman's best shots to the body over and over again and still be standing at the end of the fight, so I think it goes the distance. Not sure who would win, but I think it would be a close fight that goes to the cards.

 

Foreman was only down twice in the Lyle fight...

 

And how many times has Lewis been down? As far as I know the answer is also twice.

 

Ali isn't as big as david haye he doesn't punch as hard although he had a chin Lewis at 250 is too big for these guys. As for Frazier look what lewis did to Tua and Tyson and Frazier is smaller than those guys. Ali is great but Lewis is too big Foreman was a big man at 220 Lewis is bigger than that. Ali was great but Lewis fought off the back fought and I can't see Ali trying to put pressure on Lewis.
