    The old middleweight Roy Jones was special he dogged James Toney. I see him out boxing and being to fast for Haglar I believe he's too much for sugar too but Tommy hearns being tall with a good jab and devasting right hand may have troubleD him.

    I kinda agree, these two are the toughest matchups p4p prime for prime against any middleweights. Hearns has a great jab and definitely the power to hurt Jones.

    The middleweight version of Hearns was past his best. Hearns was a beast in size (height & reach) at 147lbs and besides his one of kind jab, that's the main reason why he was so dominant there.

    At 160 lbs, he might trouble Roy a little with the jab but he wouldn't bother Jones too much physically. I think Jones' speed would be too much for him as the fight moves on...

    Roy may have struggled with Hearns, but remember 160 was not Hearns best weight. Roy Jones had legit one punch power especially in the left hook and if he catches Tommy he falls and doesn't get back up. I would probaly favor 154 pound Hearns against Roy, but at 160 Roy by knockout.

    H2H at 160, Roy is a nightmare for anyone but I'm not confident enough to say he'd "dominate" Monzon, Robinson or Hagler.

    at 154, hearns seemed more comfortable ... He lost to SRL at 147, and a lot of it had to do with his stamina... he did look drained, I means at 6'1 , weighing in at 147 i am sure was a challenge. I don't think he even fought at 147 again after that fight.

    I sincerely doubt 160 Roy Jones, as great at he was and as big of a stylistic problem he is for just about anyone, would "dominate" Monzon, Hagler, or SRR.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    I don't even know where to start with this. Jones had an awful Glass Jaw and no Plan B in a fight so this makes him very vulnerable in head 2 head fights with other legit ATG's.

    I see Roy giving Hearns a boxing lesson at 160 and eventually TKO him.

    Hagler has the best chance of beating Roy.

    I have no doubt in my mind that Hagler and Monzon would have walked him down and knocked him out. Brutally. Jones ducked and dodged all the best at 160, 168, and 175 where his reign was a complete disgrace. I just shake my head when one of his 18 year old fan boys on here says he is "unbeatable" at 160 or 168. Based on what? :lol::rofl:patsch
