I think it's more due to Peter not seeing the left hooks coming so his body can prepare for the hit. It was the same with the uppercuts Wladimir landed on him in the second fight.
Jab -- right hand -- close with a hook. I love watching a guy use basic fundamentals to devastate an opponent.
That ref looked like he didn´t give a **** about Peter´s health. He just called Peter´s team like: "come and take this piece of thrash out of the ring".
Solis has one of the strongest chins in boxing ! What you saw on tv was GRAZING blow to the top side of the head that had nothing to do with Solis consequent injury , Solis had been having problems with that leg from a long time ago , since he fought Long , so don't think that because Solis got injured he won't be back , I believe he will comeback stronger and more disciplined from this experience , he already has stated this , he has something to prove now , not to us fans , but to himself , it's only a question of time now . My only worry is Vitali not giving him a rematch , after knowing how good Solis looked on those 2/30 minutes before the injury. If Vitali wants to call himself a TRUE CHAMPION after he retires HE HAS TO GIVE SOLIS A REMATCH . This is not only my opinion but it's also the opinion of a LOT of real boxing fans ( including Vitali's ) Peace .
Thats exactly what i was thinking. It seemed to be a lazy left hook. Not much snap at all and he went down. I didnt watch the fight or anything but was he getting beat up bad before that??
Hahaha Helenius is good, I've rated him for a while, but how can you base anything on this performance? Peter undertrains, comes in overweight and is as slow as they come. Helenius just done what he was expected, put him in with somebody who takes it serious, and is a legit test, a Thompson or an Eddie Chambers would be a much better measurement of how good he will be. :rasta
I hope anyone who ever put music over a fight or a tv show or anything on you tube gets cancer of everything. Why the **** would you do that?
Helenius punching power is undervalued. like Finnish Boxing Promoter Sayed His Punches dont look hard but they have the huge weigh on
Chef, I dont think Helenius will ever be really Ready, i dont mean ready but ready..you know. Helenius loses battle of Jabs and gets stopped late.(As Finn I must say he floors Wlad at least 5 times thou) And The Fight wont be happening for few years anyways.. They going to make Helenius first EBU Champ and make some defences and when the time comes for world title Wlad is most propably just retired having one of the most dominant modern day Hw reigns.:deal Wlad is just different level.:good
