Would you like an MMA star invited in Prizefighter?

    Botha, Mercer, Butter Bean & recently Toney have ventured onto MMA.

    How about one of them coming over onto our patch in the shortened version?

    If so, who would do the best under the Queensbury rules?

    It wouldn't bother me. But they would be made to look silly. Like Toney was when he fought Couture.

    No, they'd be ****. You can't cross over between sports without years of training. Toney got embarrassed, Mercer had a one punch KO over a fat guy and Butterbean is **** at both sports. MMA fighters, even good ones would be embarrassed just as badly in boxing.

    It would make a total mockery of boxing. If an mma star decided to switch that a different kettle of fish. But he would have to start at the bottom like others. But a one off is out of order.
    The reason it's a poor thread Colin is that it's thinking like yours that weakens our sport at a time when we need to build it up, not turn it into a freak show! It was bad enough when rocky fought thunder lips! (reality becoming severely distorted with fantasy now)

    I don't see the problem, if just for prizefighter. It would highlight the lack of real skill in MMA as they would likely get outclassed by not even top level fighters
