Ernesto Hoost is a kickboxer who trains on his striking everyday. He beat a prime mirko crocop who is considered one of the best striker in MMA. Most MMA fighter background are wrestling-bjj or judo so that is why when you see kickboxers or boxers fighting them, they look good. I mean come on look at chuck liddell's championship reign. They made it seem like he's a great striker cuz he was fighting bunch of wrestlers and bjj fighter. Put anderson silva against k-1 kickboxer and he will look average.

Come on folks. Hoost is a fantastic upper tier if not the best ever striker in K-1. He would make Silva look bottom shelf well liquor. Bonjasky would be fun as hell to watch school Silva. Mcdonald would punk him as well.

Hoost has a long career of beating top level strikers. he has wins over: Jérôme Le Banner Ray Sefo Francisco Filho Mirko Filipović Peter Aerts Andy Hug Changpuek Kiatsongrit Rick Roufus Matt Skelton Glaube Feitosa some of these guys he also had losses to (Le banner, Rufus, ect) but Hoost was world class anderson has never proven himself to be. PS. Hoost took on two dominate strikers in mma (who were good kickboxers) Cro cop and Vovchanchyn and destroyed then both in Kickboxing, Anderson would be no different. He also beat Maurice Smith, take from that what you will.
