chris john doesnt want to fight in america and according to dan rafael hase's promoters have no interest in coming to america either. Gamboa has the hbo date in august so he will definiely not go to indonesia or japan to fight

Gamboa definitely has what it takes to win, but Lopez has a better resume as a professional, and Gamboa's chin is right there for Lopez. I slightly favor Lopez, but would not be surprised if Gamboa's speed proves to much for him. That's why we want to see this fight, cuz either man can win right? If not then what makes it soooooo interesting?

    YOU do your homework...

How dare you compare Gamboa's slick slick skills, footwork, counter abilities with Lopez' one dimensional style? Yuri likes too fool around (thing he can do mostly because of his superior boxing skills) but at least he doesn't block punches with his head like the other homie does. Oh and btw, please remind me, isn't one of them a gold medalist?

Why does everyone think Gamboa has tremendous boxing skills. He has to be one of the most sloppy combination punchers around. He's a little quick and that's about it.

Why does he need a rematch with Rafa?

I mean I think Rafa did better than a lot expected but he still got stopped and he is only older now. Juanma won fair and square, what is the point?

Juan ma is lucky he aint at 122 any more. Donaire would be coming up to beat that ass. I half think thats why he wants to get up to 130 to keep that distance away.

Compare the way Juanma and Gamboa talk with the way they smile and hug each other when Juanma got into the ring after Gamboa's fight. They are in business together, they know the plan. Of course comig fight night will be a different story. Both they are working together to make the most money possible.

Yeah, Donaire is a monster. Unlike Gamboa who is qucik for the first 5 rds. and sloppy with bad technique, Donaire brings the whole package.

I hate how long it takes to make a fight these days.

Promoters forget that even if a fight takes place at an early stage in two rivals' careers, there is the opportunity for even more lucrative rematches down the line.

Arum should take a leaf out of Frank Warrens book with DeGale-Groves.

Get it done now. They aren't getting any younger and wont get much better.
