lennox lewis reach and weight would have troubled Frazier Ali and Foreman

Foreman is a bad match up for Lennox but I am not sure Frazier could get to Lennox with anything meaningful.

 

Yeah you don't have to give me a run down of Ali's attributes, I think I've seen him fight once or twice.:roll:

Ali was not a ko hitter, Lewis was ko'd whilst not in his prime twice and early.

Foreman ko'd Foreman with the most ridiculous tactics ever applied by an ATG, you think Lewis would apply the same tactics?

Liston was past prime and never had another meaningful fight post Ali. I think "dive" would be more appropriate than KO for the 2nd fight.

Ali didn't ko Frasier so I'm stumped with this one, care to point out where you got this from?:huh

Well clearly Lewis destroys Frazier with little stress, that doesn't even need debated.

 

1. Lewis was KO'd twice in his prime...Both one-punch KO losses...

2. I don't think Lewis would try to KO himself, no...But Foreman would KO him, yes...On the point I assume you were trying to make, his strategy KO'd Foreman, the only guy to do so...You should actually watch the fight if you think it was stupid...

3. 3rd fight, the 'Thrilla in Manilla', Frazier's corner stopped it...I'm stumped you claim to know Ali and don't know this...

 

Lewis's ko to McCall was pre Manny, not prime, fail 1.
Lewis's loss to Rahman - worked on Oceans 11, trained for 2 weeks to fight at an altitude of 5000ft, not prime, fail 2.

Or maybe the above scenarios count as prime to you?

Perhaps you should watch the fight again. Foreman was winging away with full shots in 100 degree heat and high humidity. Add to this his complete disregard of defence. Without a doubt the most naive tactics ever employed by an ATG in his prime.

If you think Foremans tactics where good then you're the only person on this website that I've spoken to in the last 2 years who thinks so.

You claimed it was a KO, it wasn't, Frazier retired on his stool, completely different. I'm stumped you claim to know Ali and don't know this.

 

When Lewis was in his 20s he weighed 220 to 230 when Foreman was in his 20's he weighed 220 to 230 so I dont see why would keep saying prime Foreman was only 212 because his idiot trainer weight drained him earlier in his career.

Lewis has a 1 1/2 on Foreman and a few inches in reach. That is all he has on Foreman. Doesnt have the chin, power, or strength. Doesnt punch to the body have good food work. Cant handle pressure.

I see no way Lewis could win.
