A few weeks ago there was a thread where a lot of people were saying Leapai should fight all and sundry. There is an international heavyweight prizefighter tournament , Rahman , Rogan and others are in, why is Leapai no going for it ? Its the opportunity many of you said he needs and would take. Its not about the money people said, well the money is set for prizefighter, the more you win, the more you get. So is he going to put himself forward for it ?
No mate hes not....he already has a fight on the Chris John card......As you know you still need to be invited even if you want in
There are still 2 unclaimed places if he wants it i am sure he could have it. Or maybe the fight on the Chris John undercard will get more coverage ? He could contact thr promoters if he is interested, i am CERTAIN he would be welcome.
Looks like Tyson Fury has signed to fight Hasim Rahman. Kevin Johnson is said to be in prizefighter now . Must be good for Leapai to put his name forward, you guys were crying out for him to get a chance to fight some names ? Saying prizefighter would raise his profile. Now silence ??
Prizefighter would raise his profile for sure mate however his management had committed to the Chris John card before Prizefighter came up As you know Alex has signed to fight Okhello Peter on a World title fight card and if Alex goes well he will be invited back. Chris John is IMO one of the most underrated fighters in the world today and will have some huge fights in the next year and a half and IMO Alex will be fighting on his UC if he keeps getting wins.....not a bad fighter/ promoter combo to align with for Leapai...that will raise his profile and get him better fights :good

Hasim has pulled out of the fight with Fury because of tha late notice and they have called up Kali Meehan to fill the spot. Kali has acepted the challange but Tyson quickly withdrew. Sounds like Tyson is a bit afraid of taking on someone his own size??
My thoughts exactly Ash!! If he was going to fight Rahman, why not Kali? Both acomplished heavies in their late years??
SKY Sports apparently turned Meehan down , not Fury. Rahman is still a possibility. I would also assume he is a similar size to Meehan thus disproving the scared of taking on someone his own size theory
