I reckon Taylor will have to box his arse off to hold off Serge in this fight...Serge impresses me with his explosiveness...he's very chunky and powerful and if Shannan doesn't get him on the end of his jabs then he's in a real danger of getting stopped....Taylor ain't as young as he once was...and he can't endure serious punishment like he once did either.
...for the record I'll go with KO 8 Yannick....

Fair enough Darkhorse. Should be a great bout. Yannick's coming off a busy 12 month period. Taylor's in good shape after the Kanovski victory.

Very important fight for both.. Doors open.. or Doors slam.

    Taylor KO 6.

Does Clip know Shannan has two arms?

Yannick's serve will have to be on its game.

Serge will certainly be aiming to tickle Shannans ribs on a regular basis with his rips.

This fight, whether it had been against Hamden or now Taylor, is the fight that could take Serge to the next level.

Congrats to Serge Yannick for his win last night over Shannan Taylor.

A significant win the scheme of where Serge's career is headed.

Yeah I thought Serge won 8 rounds to 4......credit to Taylor he's still tough and tried hard...he can still compete and win on the domestic level

Just wow.....Sergs left rip is sooooo nice....love the way he touches upstairs one two then bang downstairs....sweet as you like and powerful.....I have never seen so many body shots hit the mark as Sergs left rip 10/10...love the way he rocks back and sits down on them :good

I thought Serge won it . Got a call from a mate who thought Taylor got Ripped off. So i watched it again this morning. He must have had a few to many beers.
    I had it 116-111.

The looping left to the body from Serge in my eyes was one of the deciding factors of the fight.Earlier in the fight some of them seemed low,and that can be confirmed by the Ref who walked over to Serge's corner and motioned by his hand signals to bring his body punches up and over the belt or else he would deduct points.Still a bloody good fight.Congratulations to both fighters.
I think these two are destined for a rematch.Divided opinions all around ringside on the outcome.Serge is one hell of a little tactician was not intimidated at all and dished it up as much as Shannan.****ing great body work from Serge. Also the punches on or after the bell got the crowd revved up.

A nice dedication to Lionel Rose last night. The entire night of fights was enough to leave a number of promoters kissing their prayer mats for forgiveness.

    Congrats to Barry & Brian.

If those prayer mats were not there those promoters would be kissing the ground that the Koori's have been caretaking for a bloody long time.
As midnight oil sung in one of there songs.
It belong's to them so give it back.

Arab lips deserve to kiss feet... not Aussie soil.
