Fuken This getting Hilarious. I think Anut made some bold ass statement but you sir got the nod so far.:rofl:rofl
maybe not destroy but he would beat him imo with manny steward in his corner Yeah ****ing hilarious statement alright , Helenius is decent but is nothing special , I see your from Finland it explains your response you dont get many good boxers from there so I understand were your hype for Helenius come from .
This forums obsession with jumping the gun is really pissing me off. What even makes people think he could get close to a Klitschko to land? Some of you really overlook the experience of the brothers. It was the same with Briggs and Tua. Knock it off.
Briggs is too heavy and Tua is far too small. Helenius was good amateur with size, power and good chin. It take wladimir 12 rounds blow out Thompson who was big fellow, but average punch and speed..altought good chin
Of course Helenius would lose to brothers at the moment. He´s been pro under three years and as an amateur in Finland he wasn´t training properly. And in his first pro fights he looked bad as well. But he has developed real fast. There´s still major flaws to correct (for example low work rate) but I believe that in 1-2 years he pose a real threat to anyone in the division. That is if he continues to get better fight by fight, like he has.
But at Rob's age Wlad was way better on every department except chin. Impressive wins over Mercer, Mccline, Botha, Byrd.. Hopefully Rob keeps improving like he has to date and maybe then he's able to put a good performance against Wlad. 2 years/6 fights imo. Vitali's style is completely wrong for him. Thompson is the guy I want to see him fight next. -> and Helenius wins.
You thought Peter would tko Wlad in a rematch. You thought Gomez would beat Vitali. Just stfu ******.
For what it's worth I think Helenius beats Arreola right now. However, fighting the Klitschkos is another thing altogether. Like someone else said, he should wait & stay busy against medium fighters until Vitali retires and then he should go for the WBC. Maybe even against Arreola who the WBC ranks at 3rd behind Solis & Adamek. Solis already lost like a sniveling little girl, and I think Vitali is already scheduled to fight Adamek. Assuming Vitali beats Adamek and retires that would open the door for Helenius vs. Arreola for the vacant WBC belt. Then Wladimir could fight the winner in a final unification fight for all the marbles.................. They should put me in charge of these bull**** belts!
Strangely enough the WBC doesn't even have Helenius ranked in their top 15, which is ridiculous & a large part of the reason no one takes them seriously.
Vitali takes him out late. NOt saying that Helenius isn't a good fighter, as he seems to be, but I don't think he's on Vitali's level, merely from beating this version of PEter.
Sending in Helenius @ age 27 vs. Vitali would be like sending in a 25 year old Wladimir against a seasoned veteran 37 year old Lewis. Cannon fodder.
