Must have been something for Hamas to fight in Nazi Germany like that. Ay the very end of the vid you see two guys entering the ring on the left side in uniforms that looked like death camp guards.

According to newspapers Hamas was actually scheduled to meet Hitler after the bout but he missed out on the chance due to his hospital stay.

Thanks for posting this. what a severe beat down, what was hamas's corner thinking? They should have pulled poor steve out of the fight during or after the round where he was tottering around like a drunken sailor walking the wrong way and shcmeling was hitting him from behind and all sorts. Then He was slung over the ropes like a wet towel and schmeling was just teeing off with free shots. brave corner men. maybe his career could have continued had he been saved earlier...good old days eh?

Bob Foster D 15 Jorge Ahumada

Part 1 (begins after round 4):
    [yt]UN3TB6wY4FY[/yt]

    Part 2:
    [yt]T30J4WPhaTk[/yt]

The infamous "draw" decision in Foster's hometown that marked the end of his otherwise dominant championship run. Was Ahumada robbed of the title? Score it for yourself and decide.

I've been trying to watch that one all day, but my internet connection is so damn slow where I'm at that I'll have to wait on it. Great upload, though.

My2Sense, could you upload the bout between Sugar Ray Robinson and Bobby Dykes? I've been wanting to see that one for ages.

Thanks for foster - Ahumada. The judges had it roughly a draw after four rounds. I watched 5 through 15 that you posted and have a hard time seeing Foster even getting a draw. The best work in that fight was Ahumada with his left hook.

Joey Maxim W 10 Paul Andrews (begins in round 7):

    [yt]TpSz5Ay6WxQ&feature=related[/yt]

Aging ex-LHW champ Maxim scores one of the final victories of his career, gutting out a decision over hard-hitting contender Andrews. This fight probably represents Maxim's absolute last "hurrah."

    Emile Griffith vs. Willie Toweel:

    [yt]bIToKShMaP0[/yt]

Rare footage of one of Griffith's most explosive wins on the way up, against the well-regarded ex-lightweight contender Toweel. Prior to this fight, Griffith had been known mainly as a slick-boxing "cutie," but here he showed newfound punching power that would ultimately carry him to the WW title.

NOTE: There IS actually sound on this, but you'll have to turn your volume all the way up to hear it.

Impressive stuff from Emile...brutal body attack and loved how he would make something out of nothing even when seemingly not in punching position..he caught Willie napping a few times there.
Griffith really toweeled Willie in that fight.

    Much thanks again My2Sense.

Joey Giambra TKO 8 Florentino Fernandez:

    [yt]p-_6H5zDjWY[/yt]

Perennial MW contender Giambra scores one of the biggest wins of his lengthy career, as he outslugs the highly regarded Fernandez in a crucial crossroads fight.

Yeah there is the first two rounds and the last couple rounds, frankly it lookis like a great bout and I want to see all ten rounds of it. The fight looks very good, Robinson just after his prime coming against a good fighter in Dykes who had guys like Gavilan on his belt.
