Question, Are the Morales/Maidana Kirkland Katsidis/Guerrero Cotto/malignaggi fights, all on the same card?
David Lemieux TKO 11 Danny Garcia UD James Kirkland KO 6 Tomasz Adamek TKO 11 Marcos Rene Maidana TKO 9 :-( :| Robert Guerrero TKO 12 :-( :|
That is actually a card full of some decent names, they might not all be great actual matchups, but its not often one sees that many names on one card. Im pretty excited actually, except, seeing as two of my all time favs will be getting crushed (imo) this night, I expect to be somewhat solemn when Im back on here.
Hmm? Hasegawa bout? I dont really wanna be against more of the Japanese than I have to. Though I think Hasegawa/Gonzalez is a great and very even fight, I still do favor Hasegawa a bit too much to bet against him. An explanaition? Ok. I'm honestly not sold on Helenius. Imo he seem's a bit too stiff and slow. Peter was actually doing quite well until he got stopped. I think Fury has the reach, height, speed, mentality, and ability to outbox Helenius. Though I'm not a big fan of Fury, I must admit I've been a bit more impressed with him in his last fights. I'm not trying to call Helenius a bum hunter or stuff like that, and imo it's great he's taking tough challenges so early, and having success. If that fight some day happens I'd gladly put all my Kirk $$ on Fury.
Well I'd agree he certainly didn't dominate Peter up 'till the KO, but I still think he's at least a class above Fury. Let's agree to disagree on this one then, and maybe if they fight in the future we will have a bet... At high stakes also then :good
Im going to start getting ready the Featured Fights for Berto vs Ortiz Mares vs Agbeko Darchinyan vs Perez So the thread will probably have random additions of pics and vids of their upcoming fights, so that I can slowly make their fight pages
