i dnt like the names im hearing to face rios. first i hear MAB an now baby bull. deffo IMO baby bull doesnt deserve this shot. hes coming off 2 losses . and hes hasnt been active doesnt deserve a title shot. its a no brainer for me . rios either fights escobedo or demarco
Good fight, would be a war. I dont know why people think Juan Diaz is past it, why would that be? He lost to JMM, he would have always lost to JMM. He lost to Malignaggi, I think they would have a close fight prime or not.
WHy Escobedo? Diaz would kick Esobedos ass fairly easy..... A fight with Demarco would be good but id still rate Diaz much higher than those guys.... I agree with the other poster who said even a prime DIaz loses to Marquez and would have always had a tough time with Malinaggi...... Diaz is really not as past it as most of you think.
yep yep. To me JMMvsRios is 50-50 with JMM a slight favorite in his last hurrah and great performance as well as FOTY. Other than JMM, I dont see anyone else beating Rios at 135.
I like Diaz and for this reason I hope this fight doesn't happen. If you can't hurt Rios, you can't beat Rios. Diaz has no punch. Rios KO 6
I doubt Brandon Rios would fight Juan Diaz. Rios will duck him, just like he ducked John Murray. Juan Diaz beats Rios easily. Rios is not skillfull to handle the likes of Juan Diaz, Marquez, Soto, etc. Rios was getting tagged by a -B Level boxer-puncher Acosta in the early rounds but didnt suffer much cause Acosta hit-and-ran. Imagine what a pressure fighter with enormous stamina like Juan Diaz would do, or a sharpshooter powerpuncher like Soto would do to him, or a crisp counter-punching technician like Marquez would do to him. Rios needs to get through gatekeepers like Guerrero, Katsidis, Funeka, before he thinks he's ready to face the elite fighters in his division.
