I think Cameron would get his beans, careful what you wish for. Is it just me, or does Cameron only call out injured or recovering fighters????:patsch

Kiwi boxer Shane Cameron has branded Aussie rival Danny Green a coward as negotiations for a world title fight between the pair heat up.
Cameron has been lining up a fight with the IBO world cruiserweight champion since dropping from heavyweight to cruiserweight after an approach from the Green camp last year.
At their request he fought and beat Australian cruiserweights Daniel Ammann and Anthony McCracken but since then negotiations have stalled.
His manager Ken Reinsfield confirmed talks with the Green camp were ongoing but yesterday Cameron said he'd had enough of his rival "baulking" at committing to the fight.
"I'm frustrated," Cameron fumed. "Let's not forget that Danny Green was the one who approached us originally about dropping to cruiserweight to fight him.
"The decision to drop 15 kilos wasn't one I took lightly.
"I've done everything he's asked of me – including beating the two best cruiserweights in Australia – and yet he's still baulking at the prospect of fighting me.
    "What's the hold up?"
Cameron, speaking from his home town of Tiniroto in Poverty Bay last night, said he was in the best shape of his career and would fight Green whenever the Australian was ready.
"I think he's too scared to fight me," Cameron said. "There's good money for him to take the fight and it would generate a lot of interest in both countries.
"He calls himself Danny Green. I'm calling him Danny Yellow. He's not The Green Machine, he's The Yellow Submarine, ducking and diving and trying to get away from me.
"That's what I think of him. He's clearly worried about taking the fight.
"You could say I'm not too happy right now.
"I'm ready to go when he is – any time, any place, anywhere."

No way our hero Greeny who is the king of the cruiserweight division will fight someone so unworthy in Shane Cameron.
No way will the highly respected IBO ever sanction such a below par fight.

    NO ****IN WAY.

    It potentially could be.

....and you are right, Cameron was in the ring calling out Green immediately after the Briggs farce - well before Green was ill/injured.

There must be someone else. :huh

I even remember Green was on Camerons radar before that, either just after Jones or just after Siaca.
I recall the bull**** in the media about Green fighting heavyweights because he has so much power.
Cameron piped up, and from that point on he was making noises.

C'mon people. Credit to our warrior Greeny for stepping up like a true "World Champion" after nearly being killed by an incompetent triage nurse in the local public hospital sector.:good

I can see Danny's **** smeared grin now at the press conference. :yep

If anyone condems this defence of our Greeny's undisputed cruiserweight crown against and very tricky dangerous number 47 contender then they are not true boxing fans. **** them.

Tend to agree....if green can't line up another title to fight for Cameron will be fine....Shane has beaten our two best CW's besides Green so he's earned the shot
