    Undersized heavies duke it out.

Quarry by TKO in 8 rds.

Charles would cut up Quarry's face something horribly. Just a horrible matchup for Quarry. Fast Hands, Elite Boxing Skills = Jerry's kryptonite.

    Charles TKO 11 Quarry

Quarry VS Young is more appropriate.

Ezz was smarter than Jerry, more consistent and more versatile. As much as I like JQ, this is not a good match up for him. From long range, Charles has the skills and intelligence to outbox Jerry, and I think that's likely how he proceeds. Over the championship distance, stamina is hugely in his favor.

I say either Charles by UD 12 , UD15 or late cuts TKO.
Quarry is overrated . He had some fighting skill but nothing impressing .
And b4 u post some youtube fights/ highlights of his I watched most of his important fights.

The Charles of the Louis or 1st Marciano fight easily outpoints Jerry. he would have sliced Quarry up badly in the process. Ezz was a class above Jerry.

This. If Ellis beat Quarry, it seems a pretty safe bet that Charles would do so. I suppose Spencer was the best boxer Quarry beat.

    A great match-up....

Quarry would have success here with Charles since Charles was way smaller than Ali... Quarry prolly drops a decision over 10, 12 or 15 rds, but I give Quarry a real shot in a mere 10 rounder... Charles was the superior man in the skills dept., but Quarry was real tuff, game and hard punching...

But Eddie Machen and Jimmy Ellis were not bigger than charles. Both beat Quarry. I think Charles was a lot better than both.

Charles was not bigger than Ellis or Machen. Ellis stood an inch taller and weighed nearly 200 lbs against Quarry and also had a longer reach than Charles. Machen also had a longer reach, consistently carried more weight, and stood just as tall as Charles. That being said I dont think either was better than Charles in a p4p sense but at HW both were pretty damn effective and head to head I think they both would have given Charles a lot of problems.

Ali had trouble with the smaller men in his era like the 184llb Henry Cooper and 5"11 Joe Frazier and 6' 188lb Doug Jones and like Suzie Q stated Quarry lost to Ellis, Machen and none of these men where as good as Charles with the exception of Joe Frazier who stopped Quarry 2 times

Also an older Patterson fought a draw and had a decision loss with Jerry and had Jerry on the floor...I do not think Patterson was as good or as solid chinned as Charles
