Speed does indeed help, BUT haye has never been in with someone like wlad, and it would surprise me at all if he shits himself once the first hard jabs reign in on him. Keep digging the hole haye, this **** is going to be great once he gets wasted

People will say im sure that wlad has never been in with a guy like haye, BUT what are they basing this on ??, he is a hard puncher for sure and is fast, but wlad has the size and skills and defence to get past that, hell ruiz and valuev proves haye is no tyson type killer who bangs out people, i really dont get what people are accepting everything he says. Hes praying its obvious for wlads chin to fail him like it did in the past, but of course to do that he has to get in close, and may get taking out himself. Any way hes talks ****, and i cant stand the ****, but at least the fight (if it ever happens) will be excitng

Every time I read Haye's comments, i think to myself "Just to what kind of a brain-dead, imbecilic audience is he trying to cater to?". Then i go on esb and my question gets answered.

About speed: You will all be unpleasantly surprised to find Wlad's speed on par with Haye's. There is a reason he spars with middle-weights and walks around at a cut 240 lbs, the main focus of the camp is SPEED. I wouldn't be surprised to see Klitschko come into this fight at the lightest he's been in years.

Because haye is still shitting himself to actually sign on. He can talk all the crap in the world about blaming the brothers for the pull outs of fights etc, but the guy knows deep down once hes signed on his easy pay out are over, as he will lose his belt

I agree with footspeed but I give haye the edge in handspeed, wlads defense is better though, the big question im wondering is if haye is able to get inside while avoiding wlads jab, if he can things get very interesting if he cant he will not make it to the final bell.

Exactly. Wlad's speed is going to kill.

Well where is the announcement ?, to be fair and straight here, both men know this is the most dangerous or at least potentially (defiantly in hayes case) fight they have had in years, so want as much money as they can before its a done deal

From personal experience, I can say that whatever edge Haye might have in explosiveness, and thus hand speed, will be more than negated by the extra distance he has to cover to reach Wlad. Haye knows it just as well as i do, and he is preparing for 12 rounds of running, a comfortable points loss and a claim that Wlad was scared of him the whole fight.

Everyone on here thinks Haye is watching Wlad vs Sanders/Brewster/Purity

I say he is rewatching Wlad vs Ibragimov over n over. Because that is the most likely scenario that Haye is leaning towards.

that would be dissapointing if it actually played out like that, I think hayes only chance is to try to get inside avoid the jab and try landing something big. since he lacks stamina himself it would be wise to do this very early on. If he is on the outside trying to potshot wlad he will lose big. I think its better to risk it all since he is retiring right after the fight or maybe 1 fight after.
