I'm only at the end of the 1st Round. Real good action.

I'm telling you just watch the first 3 minutes you're going to stay watching it.

    Lord baby jesus.
    That fight was real good.
I just became a fan of both of these guys.

Concepcion could have looked better, but he doesn't have a supreme inside game and his guard ****ing sucks. But man the power and the jab, right hand combo is there.

Tyson has great movement and a good hook. Hes more of a boxer/puncher but exciting.

Tyson needs to remain calm and confident, and stay within himself. He didn't against Donaire or Mepranum and paid the price (although he probably couldn't have beaten Donaire anyway even at his best; I still say that he's a better fighter than Mepranum, though - and had no business losing to him) and at times against Concepcion.

When he's in the zone, he's a beast. :good

Concepcion is an exciting slugger who suffered a rude awakening, and the same will probably happen if he dares venture beyond the Panamanian border. He'll still be well worth watching, even if he does turn into a KO-or-be-KTFO-by type of gatekeeper. :D

  8. I only saw the first round and was on the edge of my seat.. I gotta find the rest of the fight.

Hmmm i dont know. So far Acosta-Rios is it for me. As far as i have seen.
This fight was really only competitive the first 3 rounds then after that Marquez took over. It was great action dont get me wrong but it didnt have the back and forth swing in the score cards. They were close rounds but Marquez earned the majority of them.

Would love to see a rematch.

:blood We're just going to have to agree to disagree, man.

This absolutely mopped the floor with Rios-Acosta, IMO. If you stack these ten rounds altogether up against those ten rounds altogether, there is just no comparison.

Even in some of the later rounds that Marquez was winning, he was deep in dog doodoo. Concepcion was certainly paying the steep price to do so, but he was getting inside and landing daisycutters.

This was a thrillride from start nearly to finish, with an unsatisfying ending; whereas Rios-Acosta was a "pretty good fight", with an excellent ending.

Its close and I was thinking this was FOTY so far too then just remember Rios vs Acosta. It's close and both were great but Rios/Acosta didnt have that great round like the first in Concepcion/Marquez but also Concepcion/Marquez didnt have that great KO ending that really closed the show like Rios/Acosta did.

They are both 1a and 1b FOTY's so far for me I cant decide. Also I didnt get to see Concepcion/Marquez live and already knew what happened so maybe that ruined it just a lil for me.

It was a trip live, man.

That morning, people actually begged me to skip the whole card so I could do the Segura-Calderon II RBR instead - thinking that would be FOTY.

Thankfully they didn't overlap at all, and it was possible to watch Marquez-Concepcion live after the PPV was already over.
