Over at the scene. Supposedly Brook wants to fight Paul Williams in what would be a comeback fight for both. Williams said he wants to come back down to 147 so it could be possible. This woudl be a nightmare for Brook in my opinion. Williams has far greater work rate, big fight experience and I see him dominating Brook.
not gonna happen for my money , if he stays with frank a guy who could get him a big fight like this he wont , if he goes to hatton he might wanna make a big one like this but i doubt he can
Massive British hype job vs american hype job. To be fair, although he was a hype job, Williams became world champ and fought very strong opposition. Brook on the other hand has fought no body, this step up in class would be too much.
Before any one kicks off, when I say Williams was a hype job, I am talking about many posters putting him in top 5 p4p just because he beat a shot to pieces Winky Wright.
Would be a good fight IMO. Who knows this could be the challenge that Brook needs but think the chances of this happening is at about 5%.
:yep Think khan would beat him and im a fan of Brook. Laz just has a problem with anyone saying anything about Khan. This will now be a lifelong grudge because Brook called out Khan... How dare he.
Is Williams a hype job? 2 losses, 1 of which he avenged in the first. His only other loss came against the current p4p number 3. He has beat Margo, Martinez, Cintron (if you want to count it) and an ageing winky. Despite his KO loss, he has a damn good chin, he can mix it up and fight, or use his height and reach to his advantage. Personally I feel it was a little unfair he went from being around 4th in the p4p list to being labelled a hype job. Williams beats brook handily.
I agree that Williams beats Brook convincingly. Hype job is the wrong term, I admit that. Just, a few years ago Americans were hyping him up so much on the back of the Winky Wright win, a bit like a lot of Brits are with Brook now, I just wanted to make the comparison. Since, Williams has proved himself not to be a hype job, despite the Martinez loss. Point taken
No, I just think he has the worst lisp in Boxing history, and isn't very special. Nothing to do with King Khan.
