Lebedev V Jones Jr - Outcome

Jones KO4 Lebedev.... in 1999...

Most likely Lebedev will explode early, knowing Jones has almost 0 left, hoping to get at his chin.

So I'd say Lebedev Tko4ish Jones maybe...

I would love to see Jones get a upset ko win though...

best case scenario he pulls his knee ligaments in the ring walk and told he can not box again , as a massive roy jones fan i hate to see him do this to himself

 

If Lebedev cannot land a big shot on Jones, Jones can win by decision. Otherwise Jones loses by TKO.

I think Jones if he is to win, needs to keep his hands up and fight in a very technical safe style. Chin down, hands up, no flashy movements. He has enough boxing ability and hand speed to win, but will he fight smart?

If he fights in the style he has been fighting in, he is sure to get knocked out. He no longer has the legs or reflexes to fight in that style and he either has to adapt to being old as many other fighters have had to do, or he gets knocked out and put into retirement.

 

Come on now, while it's possible that Jones could get knocked out in the first round, it's very unlikely even if Jones is completely shot.

Lebedev would have to land a lucky punch. Jones still has handspeed and enough power to make it at least past the first round. It's when he gets tired that he will be vulnerable.

 

Upset KO win? Wouldnt be happy with just a close decision win?

And even in his prime I doubt Jones stops him that early or at all. Lebedev is dangerous and Jones would probably play if safe pot shotting from the outside.

 

There is only one outcome to this fight and it is a savage and brutal KO of Glass Jaw Roy Jones. :deal

I only got respect for Roy.....been a fan of his a long time.....wish he retired a long time ago...and he should not have taken this fight....i'll be rooting for him...but i got a bad feeling he's going to lose by tko/ko again....
