He is Stepping it up this Friday we shall see how it goes, this kid is like 24-0 with 23 knockouts, throws every shot with intent to do damage.

Im much more impressed with this kid than Canelo Alvarez by far and yet well, its not like Lemiux is fighting anyone really good yet, mostly cans and the Camacho Jrs of the world.

He throws good shots has decent speed? Whats the assesment on this guy from the Genreal forum? be interesting how he looks this Friday.

its hard to tell yet especially since he keeps ko'ing people early but some of his diehard fanbase say he has a lot of "skill" using his amateur record and some 3 min highlight video on youtube. I dont think rubio is the guy to test him either, hes a china chin come forward brawler. should be another early ko for lemieux.

kids been boxing since he was nine so he is a bit more than just a crude slugger, its still too early but, he seems like he is an exciting fighter to watch and well lets see how he looks Friday at least Rubio can hit.

I'm too subjective for my opinion to be any worthy.

He's a Joe Calzaghe type fighter, without the athletic talent. I think he might win a title but he's like a Chavez Jr, unless he improves his technical skills he will only go so far.

I dont know for sure this weekend will give us more insight Rubio is tough and went 9 with Pavlik, he has a hard chin despite an early KO loss to Jantuah years ago.

he keeps the hands high and throws well to the body and the head he is very explosive he is patient and a good finisher

reminds me of Quartey he doesnt really waste his punches and everything is hard

My issue is at times he can get hit with some big shots that are unecessary however he took these shots very well

Rubio,at least on paper appears to be at least a step up for the kid.In truth,Rubio should not put up much of a resistance.Time will tell, but he certainly is not as good as his "fanboys" make him out to be.It will be fun to watch, however,as long as his opponents are Rubio types.

He sits on his punches, so I wouldn't compare him to Joe Calzaghe. Joe's had a better career as of now I would say too.

I would have been more into Zbik fighting Lemieux given his technical skills that would have forced him beyond blitzing his hapless opponents into a real fight. Nonetheless, I can't see anyone in the middleweight division except Martinez who could beat Lemieux.
Williams would get plastered from the inside four. Geale and Macklin would want a war, which again means they get plastered. Man, it really is Martinez and then everyone else in the MW division. Hopefully, Lemieux can improve his game for a future fight with Maravilla.

his reach is super short for his height but I've seen hbo tale of the tape stats that list his arm length at 25 inches which isn't far off from most boxers his height. the guy must have real narrow shoulders.
