which according to him is help clean up the sport

i mean his 'intentions' were to make the most lucrative fight a fight where both men were clean of drugs and help the sport pick up its act and introduce more drug testing to make sure all fighters are clean

now the pacquiao fight didnt happen

    but the mosley fight did

and that was a pretty huge fight

so has anyone seen any changes or influences from this testing that was used

i mean apart from pascal running his mouth about testing, i havent really heard of anyone asking for more testing

and mosley, the man involved with the testing hasnt seemed to follow up on it with trying to promote it to fans or have it in his fight

makes me wonder, if the pacquiao mayweather fight did happen wiv full random testing, would it really have made a difference to the sport or was it just a floyd excuse

There is a reason why boxing does not want to implement better testing, and we all know why that is.:deal

After the Mosley bout, and Mayweather's post fight interview...I noticed a good number of people kind of getting behind Mayweather's proposals.

But the bout didn't happen, now everyone just wants to see the bout...and they view Mayweather's proposals as a road block.

I understand a lot of guys have only been watching boxing for 10 minutes or so but for the life of me I don't understand how anyone who knows boxing would ever say that this guy is ducking Pac? Cotto? Margacheato? Really? These guys? I would say anyone who really believes that knows nothing of Floyds skill sets. I mean nothing!

He think hes better then SRL, ALI and the greatest of all time. So no he didn't reach that goal.

He one of the most talented boxer to bless the ring and had a great set of tools in his game to take you apart yet he failed to meet the competition to fight the top fighters such as Manny Pacquaio.

That's not all the case. You like most pac fans have to let go of your personal biases and traumas and ask yourself why your bot wouldn't take a drug test. That's all that was required. You tards will make excuses til the cows come home because everybody knows your boy was dirty! Floyd just played the card and it worked! Pac balked. End of story. Floyd in his mind will always be proven right by manny's actions because prize fighters don't walk away from 30 million dollar paydays over their ego. There was another problem and *******s can't deal with it! Prize fighters fight for the prize! Other than that, they don't fight!

What does skill set have to do with not wanting to face certain fighters for whatever reason? There's no correlation. Journeyman and bums take on fighters who completely out match them in the skills department all the time - highly skilled fighters get evade less skilled but perhaps physically stronger or more determined fighters all the time. I don't see your point

Obviously not! No you don't. And Floyd doesn't either. If I'm Mayweather and I'm not, I wouldn't see the point in fighting any of these guys except Pac. PRIZE FIGHTER DUDE. FIGHT FOR THE PRIZE. 58.8 m AGAINST SHANE MOSLEY.WHERE DOES MARGARITO COME INTO PLAY? WHEN? WHY?

I haven't heard anybody mention Sergio Martinez a fighter that Floyd actually expressed interest in fighting. But now all ol boy sees is the Pacman payday because he can work the *******s for at least a 100Mill in PPV. And if I were Floyd (and I'm not) I wouldn't even think about a Pac fight for less than a 100 Million! because the Pacscrubs and all their senseless hoopla make it all possible. Floydie knows Pacscrubs will mortage the house and car to buy the PPV which Floyd will see at least 3x's what Manny will. Get that *******s, 3x's what Manny will take home regardless of the purse. Think about that. And you wonder why he doesn't fight what you consider competition?

Ok so let me ask you a question when Floyd was at 147 back when 147 was the best division in boxing bar none. Why didn't he fight Cotto who was killing dudes, Clottey, Cintron, Williams, and even Margarito.

    Who did he go with?

Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, DLH at 150, Hatton at 147, JMM at 146!, Shane

Come on man lets be real. I'm not saying hes NOT great I'm saying his goal was at be ATG. Better than Ali and SRL. He hasn't proved that yet.

Sounds like your talking about "Escape from Top Rank"! Think about how Floyd and Arum left it. So now you're asking,"how come he's not fighting Top Rank guys?" And none of the guys you mentioned are even half as popular as JMM or Shane. And Hatton has a real following unlike the TR guys you mentioned. So from a business perspective those were by far the best and most beneficial decisions for Floyds career. 1st of all Baldomir had a belt, so that was a necessary thing for Floyd to do for unification purposes because at that time, belts were still a priority. Hatton & JMM are worth more PPV's than all the other TR guys put together. So the fact that TR had all the welters at that time (according to you) and Floyd and Arum weren't exactly pounding beers together means Floyd is running from all the welters? Hmmmmmmmm? Just doesn't sound likely. In the sport of boxing when someone says a fighter is running, there's usually a real lack of interest in that fighter!
