Jack 'Kid' Berg Vs Ricky Hatton

Two of Britains best ever ten stone fighters, who takes it over 12?

Both had , excuse this chaps, 'ugly' styles. Both had some truly phenomenal wins and suffered crushing early round one punch K.Os to P4P ATG greats and both made their name in the states (Berg fought in the States more than anywhere else IIRC)

Does this come down to Hatton being a bit naturally bigger? Berg, no puncher, would likely be overwhelmed and ground down, losing on points. He fought at Lightweight, and that was during the time of same day weigh-ins. Would he be able to overcome Rickys bullish style and body attack? Different style completely of course, but beating Kid Chocolate away from home solidifies how quality a fighter Berg was; would he really find Hatton that much of a puzzle?

While we're at it, greater win: Berg/Chocolate or Ricky/Kostya???

If someone could post videos of Berg for anyone who might be unaware of him that would be much appreciated, on me iPhone at the mo' :good

I'm a bit vague on Ted 'Kid' Lewis. Jack Britton clearly got the better of him in their epic series, but, Britton himself was an ATG. Famous weight jumper, but how much substance is in there? I've delved in but not massive amounts, he's clearly an ATG, but would a more knowledgable poster be able to point me in the direction of some of the finer points of his Ring Record?

Not looked properly for years Paup but I remember thinking from a certain point of view his record suffers from depending as much as it does at that level on one fighter, even if it is Jack Britten.

Ted "Kid" Lewis was a Jew. What would he possibly gain from being a henchman for a Nazi?

I'd guess Oswalds money was a good as anyone elses. I've heard a story that Lewis didn't realize exactly what he was involved in, not sure how true that is though...

As I suspected, Ted 'Kid' Lewis is overrated. Even if he did fight Georges Carpentier :deal

(someone post it please :good it's on YouTube)
