That's not a fact. That's your opinion. A fact is Evander Holyfield did get floored by late backup substitute Bert Cooper, and lost to Michael Moorer.

Would Marciano ever have lost to Michael Moorer??

Evander is probably the most inconsistant top 15 ATG whereas Rocky is the most consistant
Holy would never have made 49 - 0 in any boxing era!

Which means we should stick to the facts were it´s possible. :thumbsup But of course Marciano isn´t black.

If you seriously think Lennox was in his PRIME when he fought Vitali you need to have your head checked.

Difference is, Lennox beat Vitali's ass anyway, prime or not. Old, unmotivated and out of shape, and facing a hungry giant who would go on to dominate the division, Lennox found a way to get the job done. :good

just putting it out there... we always hear the "what if marciano had fought the giants holyfield fought" line. well, what if holyfield had fought the technicians that marciano fought? marciano went 5-0 against walcott, charles and moore, some of the most skilled fighters at any weight, let alone at heavyweight.

Exactly. The three best heavyweights of his era, he faced all of them, which is fantastic.

Trouble is, he went 3-4 against them, losing one by KO.

Another trouble, he was outpointed three times before he was 35. Getting outpointed over 12 rounds is worse than getting sparked by one punch. Getting laid out by one terrific punch only means that you walked into one terrific punch. But getting outpointed over 36 minutes means that the other guy is a better boxer than you are.

So what? He was clearly physically ill during the Moorer bout ... that was plain to see. In addition he came back when healthy to destroy Moorer. As far as power goes Cooper hit much harder than Walcott or Moore .. he was a big puncher.

So what if Holyfield if Holyfield floored by Bert ****ing Cooper??

"Iron-chinned" Marciano was floored by ex-WELTERWEIGHT Archie Moore!?!

Would Holyfield get floored by an ex-Welterweight? NOPE

Holyfield was floored by Bert Cooper - widely recognized as a VERY hard puncher.

Is Moore not widely recognized as a good puncher....let alone better precision and timing and all around ability!

Never heard Moore called a blown up welter before!

Marciano was floored by Archie Moore, the fighter with the most KOs in history. What a shame. :verysad
