Aye, there's a serious buzz in up in Dungiven at the minute. The fight is being shown in St Columbs Hall in Derry too which holds around 700/800 people, so thats an option too for anyone who cant make it to Manchester.

It is great to see it! They had billboards well outside the town, I spotted them in the middle of the glenshane pass and on the other side of the town there was a big poster of Dudey on a parked Parcel Force lorry.

It was great, I loved seeing all the boxing support in the middle of a wee village. I would love it if he pulled it off, he is well capable of doing it - a lot of people are going to be surprised at how well McCloskey will do against Khan:bbb

Does anyone else fancy McCloskey's odds against Khan? I realize I'm a newbie to the board, but as I see it, Roach has turned Khan into something of a poor man's Pac, which is still very, very good. His body shot on Maidana was amazing, but don't forget he was running for his life at the end of the fight. I know McCloskey isn't the pucher that Maidana is, but if Paul can withstand his speed and volume in the early to middle rounds, and that's a big if, he could potentially wear him down. Without the kd and point deduction in the Maidana fight, it would have a draw on two cards and a Maidana victory on the third (majority draw). I think Alex Ariza won that fight for Khan as much or more than Roach, and they sacked him.

The only way I see this getting stopped early in Khans favour is a bull**** stoppage due to a flurry.

Khan has great speed and very good movement, but his defence is very leaky. Dudey is a really slippery southpaw that will potentially cause problems for Khan. I dont see Dudey winning on points, as I can still see Khan outboxing him if it goes to the cards. I think McCloskey's best bet is a late stoppage and he is well capable of doing it.
