Didn't Tarver always walk around pretty heavy between fights?

You can rest assure Tarver will come in, in excellent condition come fight night. There's no way he's going to koed like Roy..........his ego just won't let that happen. I think this is going to be a great fight to watch & one that will test Green.

haha how weird, read dannys facebook page and hes copping an absolute hiding for fighting tarver over cameron, so many bogans have been fooled into thinking that cameron is a legit contender, whereas on here most people are applauding the fact that he chose tarver over cameron. i genuinely think this will be an entertaining fight, i think danny has to go for the ko as if tarver becomes settled and sits on his punches danny is in for an embarrassing decision loss. i would have been very disillusioned if he chose to fight cameron

I think the trash talk may be the best thing about this fight.

Will Green make Tarver weigh 195?

Pretty good fight, especially after surgery and what not. How much does tarver have left though? Will he get up for this?

Good fight, question is will there be dannyweight?? Will greens choice of opponent lately be his undoing?? Either way I'll be watching!

100% no incentives or catch weights, his manager was just on radio in WA. danny coming on soon.

recent fight went 12 rounds so (injury aside) I am not sure that side of prep could be any better??

I think its a more dangerous fight than the Roy fight Ash. Tarver has has a relatively war free career. If he comes in fit he's going to be the best fight Green's had in years. Great work from Greens managment getting this fight made. The press conferences are going to be 100% full on in the mouth department which I think will build real excitement to the fight.

Green could have challenged Tarver, Jones and Briggs 6 years ago instead he waits til they're past their best. When will he head to the states to fight? If he was a real champion he would be chasing guys like Kessler and Adamek. Wont be wasting my money on this fight, but hope green gets a wake up call from a 42 yr old, past his prime Tarver. Who's next? Holyfield? Danny fight someone under 40.

Green should definitely have fought better opponents at various times in his career.

Green holds a crusier-weight title. So match-ups with a career super middleweight like Kessler, or a now campaigning at heavyweight, Adamek, are pretty unlikely.

    Kessler ducked Green in 2004.

    Adamek is now a HVY.

Briggs was at LHW when Green was at SMW.
