- Neither brother really worries about weight gain do they? They're in shape all year around correct? - Do they actaully put on a few lbs of muscle and gain weight in training camp like Stewart says? - When Vova had shoulder (?) surgery a year or so ago and was laid up and couldn't work out did he put on any weight and get rather out of shape (for him) lol
actually I worry about weight loss not weight gain..... just like pac, the brothers train so hard that they lose weight
What works for Manny may not work for someone else as he mentioned that for Chavez Jr its a much different diet .
So how about worms like Marshmallows were saying? hehe just kidding Chef. Do you post in the Boxing training threads? ESB may learn some great tips from you.:bbb
The lengths Ariza goes to cover up the truth. The Chef is right. No way in hell a man needs a protein shake AND a full serving of chicken in one sitting. No way in hell Pac is scarfing all that down and not putting on any weight (or ending up with the runs). We all know where the results are coming from. Just take the tests Manny!
Honestly, when I first heard Ariza speak I pretty much thought he was a no brains "groupy *****", trying to get his momment in the sun by feeding his pupils special candy bars. But as a medical student and someone that is very interested in the training and condition side of the sport, after following many of his interviews with I can safely say I'm pleasently suprised with his level of knowledge. I think he's probably the real deal. Thats not to say he's not a drama queen. But in my opinion is he's at the very least a smart drama queen.
Point taken... but even after a long and physically demanding workout, the body remains in a metabolic state for some time after. If he is eating a high protein meal with a shake soon after a workout, his metabolism will still be working at a high rate. Most of the excess will be burned as fast as they are consumed.
